Less material. Less glue. The Hi-Phy Boa Snowboard Boot uses Ride's injection-molded, one-piece Phy-Top 2.0 construction to drastically reduce weight while increasing comfort. At the same time, the Hy Phy maintains a mid-stiff feel (7 out of 10 on Ride's scale) for plenty of comfort without sacrificing edge control and power. Ride calls it an all-mountain freestyle boot. We call it a masterpiece.
Shock-absorbing duties are taken care of by Ride's 3D-formed dual-density EVA foam Impacto insole, so your next flat landing won't feel so flat. To round out the Hi-Phy, Ride hooked it up with a natural-feeling articulating cuff and a 3D-formed tongue to eliminate shin-bang forever.

Comfortable and high performing
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Awesome boot that is low profile and very comfortable. I was able to fit into a size 10.5 in these boots, while in other boots I usually had to get an 11 or 11.5. I did this without sacrificing any comfort. The liner is very comfortable (Intuition liners are awesome) and heel hold is excellent. Materials used appear durable, but father time will ultimately be the judge of that.
Ride's variation of Focus Boa (Closer Technology) makes fine tuning of the forefoot tightness a breeze. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about this boot.
