super stiff/perfect fit

if you need something flexy, stay away from these. they are mega stiff. i ride by the fact that you get more out of your board if you have a tight connection to it..therefore i go with stiff boots and bindings regardless of the flex of my board (even jibbing) since i torque the crap out of my boots especially on tweaks. these boots are made to fit YOUR foot perfectly. not only do they have the thermo-mold liners which form to your feet, they have the double boa so you can adjust the top and bottom tightness of the boot. the liner also closes with velcro so your feet don't move around, which USED TO be a big problem for me. also, the lock down lacing system is a nice easy way to tighten your liner quickly. the gel heel and sole make it super light and really soft on landings. all the features they threw into these boots work. they're super responsive and for some aggressive shredding, they're perfect. if you like stiff boots, go with these

Lightweight; Heavy Hitter

-Super light; they fell like I am wearing lightweight hiking boot
-Super stiff; great for all-mt riding
-To top of ankle pinch zone; dual BOA tension laces takes care of that. One dial is for the bottom laces and the other for the top...infinite ability of adjustment! 6hrs of riding and no pain in my feet at all.

-Too Stiff; I will see with some hours logged in them. ( Only had one day logged, so far...)
- Very difficult to remove and reinsert liners for drying out.
- Hook and loop closure on the top of the tongue of some what annoying when putting the boot on. I find myself undoing the tongue multiple times before my foot gets in there.
- Toe cap has a clear smooth plastic band that protects the front of the boot gets nicked very easily and them become noticeable; I like to keep my gear clean...!

Bottom LIne: Comfortable, no ankle pinch, super light, and reasonably priced. *Minus the Ecto-cooler Green!

Insano, well maybe i am

Best boots out there for under 300 bucks. Well designed and made from great components... They are stiff though, but that is how these boots were made to be.

Terrible boots. They feel way too soft after a month on the mountain. They were great for the first few weeks. I haven't owned anything from ride in years, now I remember exactly why. You can spend 300 bucks on better things, like their bindings, oh wait...they twist like aluminum cans when they endure any sort of impact.

great boot but too stiff

Great quality boot. No painfull pressure points. Very responsive and perfect for well groomed trails but way too stiff for anything choppy or powder. Definitely not for the park. Had to return for a more flexible boot.

very light boots for the big mountain and higher speeds, some say these are ok for anything by i think a litle too stiffy for the jumps and rails.very precise fit with the double boa, very comfy too.

Sweet boots

These are the lightest boots I've ever owned. Very comfortable with no pinch points for me. The liner laces with the dual zone boa is awesome and lets you quickly adjust the tightness on the slope. These boots are super stiff definetly a good alternative to the drivers or malamutes if you want the convenience of boa. The sole is all foam and has little plastic spikes under the balls of your feet for grip. Makes em really really light and gripy enough on snow but slippery on linoleum and polished concrete.
The toe caps area nice thick material with internal stitching that should hold up well though. I use these with union sl's and a banana magic. They go nicely with stiff board and bindings.

Ok so after a few(7) days these have packed out and put a nice and painful pressure point on my inside ankle, i tried loosening them but it doesn't make much difference and defeats the purpose of having stiff botos i think. still really well constructed and super light so they are still four stars just not for me i think
