Control, support and, yes, even comfort.

The Ride Jackson Boa Coiler Snowboard Boot would like to dispel the rumor that feet capable of intermediate to advanced all-mountain crushing have to be stuffed into a tight, uncomfortable boot for support and control. Luxury meets performance in this versatile boot thanks to Boa Coiler with The Closer lace guidance system, Intuition Mobile Foam Liner, and the superior heel-hold of internal and external J-bars.

The big story here is the Boa Coiler System with The Closer technology. The Boa is a reel-type closure system that allows you to quickly and easily achieve a just-right fit that stays put; the Closer lace guide at the forefoot drives lace power down and evens the tension throughout the boot for a close, responsive fit without pressure points. The inner liner uses Lock Down Turbo to make it easier to get the liner tight and simple to release at the end of the day. Speaking of the inner liner, it's an Intuition Mobile Foam Liner. That means it's thermo-moldable to fit your foot perfectly and anti-microbial to reduce boot-stink. Ride also included removable external J-bars that allow you to lock your heel down inside the boot while providing added comfort.

Shock absorbing duties are taken care of by Ride's 3D-formed dual-density EVA foam insole, so your next flat landing won't feel so flat. The sole is Ride's Blown Light Summit, a combination of rubber and Phylon that provides previously unheard-of light weight and durability. To round out the Jackson, Ride hooked it up with a natural-feeling articulating cuff and a 3D-formed tongue to eliminate shin-bang forever.

Light but not durable

Comfy and stylish, good performance. Shredded them in a season to where they wouldn't keep out Spring slush and my girlfriend made me put them outside. The tweed ripped in a few different spots and the leather cracked. Loved them but construction is an issue.
