- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The fit of these pants is a little bigger than i'm used to, i usually rock skinny lil holdens, but that gives me room to layer when its cold and free ball it when its warm. So far I really like them. Pretty water proof and they kept me cool on a hot day when I was hiking and warm and dry on a cold snowy day. The bell bottom fit looks ridiculous with out boots but is great when you are actually riding and can fit easily over my high backs. Dig them so far.
Take note of the "Slim Fit"

Tried these on in a store first before buying on line, so I knew the Med was going to be snug and my ass was going to have to drop a few pounds to get them on. But once I did lose those pounds I love the way these fit. I'm pretty muscular and these were a flattering cut for me (5'8" 140 lbs and ordered a Med) as well as being functional. I modified the boot cuff because it was a little big, but no big deal there. Zippers stayed zipped and despite several run-ins with tree and assorted brush, I've only ended up with one small hole which was easily sewed up. Decent waterproof-ness. Wouldn't take them out on the coldest of cold days (not a lot of room for layering because of the slim fit) but for anything above zero F, they do pretty well. Kinda wish I'd bought a second pair when I found them on sale!
