Description

Full-featured freestyle ride for still-growing shredders.

The Ride Lowride Kids' Snowboard hooks up legit freestyle performance for kids, thanks to a super-soft Gummy core, twin shape, and Lowrize rocker profile.

The LowRize Rocker profile gives the Lowride a loose feel that allows your little ripper to stomp the sketchiest landings. The twin shape rides and lands with plenty of control and predictability whether straight or switch. Ride’s standard edges wrap all the way around the board seamlessly for bomber durability and more flexibility with de-tuning.

The LowRide also uses Ride's standard seamless wraparound sidewall technology. Ride uses P-Tex sidewalls that are industry-proven and easy to repair. All of this technology is built around Ride’s Gummy Core, which sandwiches a Gummy foam layer in between wood layers for a soft, forgiving feel. Ride finishes off the Lowride Snowboard with its Fusion 1500 Base—a soft base material that absorbs wax easily and repairs easily.

Wider is Not Always Better

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Length wise, the board was fine. Unfortunately, the width was too big for a size 12c boot. I opted for another Burton Chopper and my son's confidence went up 110%, linking turns by the end of the day.

If your child has bigger feet I'm sure this board would be fine.
