This board is a rocket, if you're a speed freak enjoy it! Quick edge to edge, and no chatter. Don't go to sleep on it, you have to stay on it at all times, not a board for a beginner! Great for kickers, and rollers, but the stiffness makes rails and boxes an adventure. Overall a great board for backcountry and all-mountain riding, once you get dialed in your friends will be eating your dust.

I'm interested in this board but I wear a size 13 boot. I noticed that one of the gear experts said last year's model maxed out a 11.5. Would you recommend getting risers for this board or should I look at other boards instead. Generally I'm not a big fan of wideboards.
If you really want this board you will need to use risers to reduce toe and heel drag. Wide boards are the other option for the big footers. Personally I would rather have a wide board with no risers than and a skinny board with risers but thats just me.
You can ride this agressive board anywhere on the mountain. literally everywhere. Not as stiff as the Concept TMS or the Concept UL but this makes it more fun when you are just cruzing and carving. and you can also do 100mph to be the first one shredding the powder stash that you saw from the lift!
Aggressive and Responsive
This board is one of the most aggressive boards I've been on in a long time. It has changed significantly since it's short hiatus from the Ride Lineup a few years back. Plain and simple, if you are an all mountain ride that likes a stiff overall flex (8 out of 10), very fast edge to edge response, tons of snap and pop, fast base then you're going to love the Prophet.
I was amazed at how aggressive this board was when I took it out last February. It likes to be on edge and if you screw up, it's not very forgiving. But when you get dialed into how aggressive the board is it's amazing. Pointing it down steeps knowing that you're not going to have the edges slip out, dropping off cliffs knowing that it's going to survive the landing, taking a beating dropping through chutes.
This model really maxes out at a 10.5 boot size, unfortunately ride doesn't produce a wide model. So if you're sold on this deck and have an 11+ boot size make sure to check out some elevator plates to throw on this deck and you'll be set.
