Description

Aptly titled.

The Ride Rainier Jacket must be named after Mt. Ranier. Which would make sense, since it uses Strata HD II, a micro-porous laminate designed to keep you dry in wet and heavy snow—wherever you are. Ride's Classic Long fit adds an extra two inches to the overall length, which means you can sit down on a wet chairlift or in the snow without getting your butt soaked (or your flannel shirt that's hanging out). Speaking of flannel, the Rainier also has a contrasting plaid flannel lining, which pairs nicely with the textile-like feel of the shell material and the military style epaulets on the shoulders.
  • Fully taped seams prevent moisture from infiltrating seams
  • Classic long fit provides coverage and doesn't ride up your back every time you ratchet your bindings
  • Strata HD II material includes a dual-layer, micro-porous laminate to keep you dry

Shreds well

Just got this in Size Medium after returning the Size Large. I'm 6'0" 180 lbs, and the medium fits very well. By that, I mean it's not too baggy and not tight, room to add layers, but not sloppy looking. The large by contrast was too long and too wide. The sleeve length is fine on the medium as well. Solid jacket, no frills, looks sick in the blue color. Picture is accurate. Jacket is also not too heavy so it won't weigh you down when your getting weird in the glades.
