Description

Ready to battle the elements.

The Ride Sodo Jacket will take you through winter's nastiest days in style and comfort. 60g of poly insulation backs up the 15K waterproofing for super-tough cold-weather armor. The removable hood and mesh-lined vents allow you to adapt the Sodo to changing weather conditions. The jacket-to pant zippered connection turns your Ride pants and jacket combination into an impenetrable shield, and urban styling with exposed metal zippers gives the Sodo the style to back up all that technology.

Steez to Pleez

I bought this jacket last year as the shell and loved it. Its plenty waterproof and the high loft fleece around the neck is super nice becuase it eliminated my need for a neck gaiter and cut down on bulk. I'm 6' 185 lbs and got a large. Its baggy on me but I was going for that.

Pro: pant to jacket zipper connect!!!!

Con: cheap zipper pulls and no media pocket. There is a chest pocket for an mp3 player but it doesn't have a hole that you can put the wire through to the inside of the jacket. I found this situation was easily fixed with a hole punch in about 2 seconds.

A cheaper lighter Capp3l

If you're familiar with capp3l than you know that ride brings banger style to the mountain but sometimes with all the metal 'style' points they add on, their outerwear can get a bit heavy. The material is the same (15k/10k) but all those metal accents turn to plastic and the zipper pulls aren't quite as nice. If you pick up a pair of ride or capp3l pants with this, they zip together to make a one piece which is amazing on those especially deep days here in Utah. Super pleased with this jacket and my only complaint is the zippers and zipper pulls are a little cheap.
