Description
The name of this binding is how many things it's awesome at.
From backyard rail sessions to heavy backcountry lines, the Rome 390 Snowboard Binding kills it everywhere. The 390 Asym highback is ergonomic and canted for superior control and reduced fatigue, and the V-Rod baseplate reduces the binding's footprint so you can be one with your board.
- 390 Asym highback is slightly canted to deliver seamless response and flex with your board
- V-Rod Unibody baseplate reduces the binding's footprint on the board for increased board feel, greater side-to-side flex, and edge-to-edge power
- SubBase V-Pad fills in the lifted corners of the V-Rod baseplate with EVA for smooth side-to-side flex
- UnderWrap.2 heel hoop extends to the toe region for direct heel-to-toe response, and is torsionally flexible for side-to-side tweakability
- Contour ankle strap is Rome's most plush ankle strap, providing support and comfort for all types of shredding
- OpenForm toe strap wraps around the toe from the front and over the top for a secure fit without pressure points
- AutoStrap keeps straps out of the footbed for easy access after getting off the chair

Fit??
Ive read a bit that the extra width in ThirtyTwo boots only JUST fits between the front strap mounts on the Rome 390s. Anyone able to shed some light on this? ive got ThirtyTwo Lashed in a US11.
Thanks

You should be fine with the size 11 Lashed. I ride these bindings with the Rome Fulsom or Bodega boots in size 12 and have no problems with the width.

Is there a way to make these work with Burton's channel system?

YES. Rome has the "Universal Disc" that works with the channel. Once you receive the binding contact Rome at http://warranty.romesnowboards.com/ and request a set. They will send them out for free.
Great Set of Binders

I purchased the 390 bindings again this year and am extremely stoked. I have had two pairs of these guys in the past and went with another because Rome is keeping the straps consistent with past models, making it easy to swap parts. A little softer than years back, but still enough stability for all mountain riding. Only downfall to the 390's is the new way they screw the baseplate cover in. Overall: Great set of Binders.
Fantastic.

I recently bought the Rome 390 and had no doubt they would fulfill my expectations! Super comfy, lots of support and very minimal foot fatigue. Great buy!
Super Comfortable and Durable!

These bindings have seen many powder days over the years! I have also never had the screws loosen up on be because of the pad that goes over the baseplates!
Best Bindings Ever!

These are my altime favorite bindings! I got my first pair in 2007 and they are still going strong! I got a second pair in 2009 for my other board and they are still going strong!

I like a lot of the features on the bindings, they feel pretty smooth to ride and i like how pretty much everything is adjustable, but they're kinda poorly made in the sense that things are breaking a bit too often. Also they're supposed to be good for up to size 14 boots and i have size 13 that I need to squeeze into the binding every time I put my feet in them.

So I'm a park/urban rider, and I've been using Flux RK30's (When I bought them they were the Titan RK's). However my Flux bindings have always been on a cambered board. This season, I'm rocking the Academy Propaganda in a 149 REVERSE camber. Naturally I'm looking for something a bit stiffer to compensate for my increased board flex. Would these rock a rail with that setup well? Or would I be better suited with anything else?

I think the 390 is a great choice. You can basically do anything with the 390. It's not too soft and not to stiff. It is just the right amount of flex and performance.
Best binding ever. No question.

I've been riding the 390 for 5 seasons now and this is the best showing yet, hands down. The new toe cap is a huge upgrade, and if you're riding any other model baseplate, the VROD provides a noticeable improvement in response. I ride a smaller boot (size 9) in the L/XL as a matter of preference and have never had issues. The customization is amazing, and takes some time, but is totally worth it. If you don't want to take the time to set up your bindings before you ride, look into a pair of Mobs or Mob Bosses.

I love the 390 bindings. I've ridden a lot of bindings over the years and find the Rome 390 and 390 Boss bindings to be nothing short of a workhorse binding. They are fully adjustable in almost every way and fit perfectly with my size 12 boots. The straps are very comfortable and I love how you can adjust almost every part of the binding to you needs.
