The Rome 390 Snowboard Binding—sensitivity and precision to take your riding to the next level.

Nothing's worse than gapping onto some rail and not being able to feel what's going on under your feet. With increased board feel and a moderate flex, the Rome 390 Snowboard Binding keeps you in close contact with the terrain you ride. The 390 Binding's glass-filled nylon base helps you feel the snow (or handrail) without decreasing the energy transfer, so you can ride solidly at speed. Rome's UnderWrap heel cup comes around the back of the heel and under your toes to give you precise edge control and increased responsiveness. The Gel Fit ankle strap gives you a precise fit without nasty pressure spots. Whether you're sessioning the park or mixing some freestyle moves into your all-mountain riding, the 390's performance helps you progress your riding as far as your cojones and your body will allow.

will these bindings work with the est system that burton has

Responded on

As said above, no they do not work on Burton boards with The Channel. To date I believe Flux and Union are the only two companies advertising disc that will work on those Burton boards.

Very Nice!

I swapped boards last weekend with a buddy...My NS Evo with Forum Republics for his shorter NS Evo with 390's. I have to say I loved the bindings. Super comfy. Responsive yet soft enough to get your jib on. Felt very close to my setup with the other binders. I am looking for a pair of Neon colored 390's for my Artifact now!!! Wish BC still had this years 390 in a larger size!

comfy but..

very comfortable and good steez, but they break. i had to replace both toe and ankle straps on both bindings, got it fixed for free at my local shop, had to frankenstein it though. annoying, but atleast i didnt have to pay for it. so comfy, but..

Buy the lrg. You will thank yourself later. The med my bro has and they are tiny, just fits his boot. Rock the lrg. crank down.

do you guys have the 390 in white L/XL?

Time to shred

These bindings are amazing. They come in two sizes S/M and L/XL, makin' sizing super simple. They are a mixture of both plastic and metal, giving you the best of both worlds! You get the flex of plastic but the stability of metal!

Every year they tweak the binding with a new little feature and they still amaze me year by year. I have ridden these for 4 years and have no complaints what so ever.

Plus you can tweak just about everything on these to your liking for the perfectionist, inside us all.

Best Bindings

I own a pair in the neon color (bad ass). These are some of the greatest binding I have ever ridden. The toe and ankle straps are wonderful and the metal ratchets are wonderful. The high back is supportive and offer great edge control, but perhaps the best part is metal frame. It just feels so supportive and substancial.

Solid Bindings

Bought these bindings this season. Bolted to my Never Summer, they absolutely rock. Solid construction and super comfy. Despite some of the other posts about these, they can be very supportive if dialed in right. They are adjustable in so many different ways, it can take some time to get them just right. The only complaint I have is with the forward lean adjustment. This year's model has the dial instead of the standard clamp setup, and it seems that it wasn't very well thought out. It twists sideways after a couple runs and gets packed with ice so you can't lock it back in place - not that you can manipulate it with gloves on anyway. This is a very minor problem though; I would recommend these bindings to anyone that isn't too concerned with the forward lean adjustment. Hell even if you are, put some superglue on it and ride.

very good

there are a few super great things about these bindings. 1) the toe-cap strap can be used as a cap or as a toe or somewhere in between. my friends have the burton toe-cap strap and it seems to fall off the front of their boot all the time. 2) the bindings stay 'open' most of the time when a foot is not strapped-in, thus making a quick entry while skating much easier. they have these rubber band type things that makes the bindings actually open-wide for your foot when unstrapped. i have the B&W and they look great! very adjustable (more than average humans will need) baseplates are soft and offer landing cushion.

Great Binding

The 390 Bindings are a solid all around binding that I have used extensively this season riding hard at JH. The buckles and straps are strong, easy to adjust and work like butter with excellent hold. Well thought out design details that are appreciated towards the end of a long day of riding!

BEST customer service EVER had

Got the shipment on friday afternoon on feb 20, after opening the box i found out that was a wrong binding. So i called the customer service right away and the lady(sorry forgot her name) said she will arrange an immediate next day air and ship it to me. the very next day afternoon, BOOM correct binding arrived at my door.
I will give 6 stars for the customer service:)

These are some great bindings. LOVE em! Super cush. The buckles are so easy to use. For sure they are BURTON KILLERS. I won't go back to BuRToN NO MORE! I ride with some CELCIUS boots and no problem with the fit. I ride these bindings for everything!

i'm used to riding with toe cup straps and i didn't read anything on how good the toe straps are on these bindings. i like what i hear and what i see but i would still like to know thanks in advance

Responded on

These can be ridden either way, on top or in front of the toe. I actually like this style strap more so than a all the way cap strap.

Responded on

front of toe, top of toe or anywhere in between where you want it to go. Too far in front may fall-off the boot in front, but not if you tighten them down a lot....

Buy em! .......twice if ya gotta...

Ok hands down the best binding for the buck! I would give them the best rating as far as comfort, durability, and control go for any binding i've ever ridden. Only thing that comes close to this is the union force. The straps are hands down the best straps in the biz. I bought these beginning of this season and found that they made a world of difference on my m3 gabe taylor pro model. I was riding some k2 bindings before on it and found i was quite disappointed with the boards performance.. mostly just how ridiculously stiff it seemed. Bought these bindings... and felt like i had complete control of the board.. it was way more buttery.. way more comfortable.. way more fun! Unfortunately I recently drove away from the hill with that setup on top of my truck like a straight up fool and it is no more. But it was definitely fun while it lasted. Now i'm buyin the new lib-tech t rice board and guess what bindings im puttin on it!

a good choice

this is a really solid binding. there is only a couple this i have to mention on the downside... i rid everything and rid it hard, so far ive rode backcountry booters street rails park pipe and freeriding and keeps up jus perfectly its really easy to adjust and has enough flex so moving around in them arent a pain but keeps it stiff enough to hav loads of pop for huge booters backcountry and they are so comfy it shud be illeagal on the downside buckle detigheners one boke off a bit it still works better than fin and yuo have to tighten the allan key in the back cuz its a lil to loose it slips other than that they are an excelent choic for people who ride everything

So comfy, yet so responsive

Ive been riding Burton Cartels since I first got serious into snowboarding. This year I decided to change things up, and have read 1000's of reviews on these things and they were everything I expected and more. With other bindings, you can tell when you've tightened them too much because you can feel it in certain pressure points; not true with the 390's. These bindings have no pressure points, they are the absolute best binding I have ever ridden. The ease of adjusting the straps requires no tools, so quick adjustments on the mountain are a breeze. This years ankle strap has an enormous amount of gel in it making it one of the comfiest out there. There is also a strap that keeps the ankle strap pulled away so when your stepping into your binding after the chair lift the strap isn't in the way. Try them out now, if you don't like them, Dog Funk's return policy is the best. You have nothing to lose.

The best hands down!

I demoed these from work last year and fell in love. Problem was, so was everyone in else. I could not get my hands on them all season (of 07/08) reason being they are amazing. super responsive, quick adjusting, super cush padding on the ankle strap, the toe strap you rock over your toes or over the top. I finally have a pair of my very own in Teal this season (yay) Marry these with your agent, artifact, mod (or whatever Rome deck you like) and you will be forever happy you did.
