Description

They almost called it 'An Awesome and Comfortable Binding Capable of Crushing the Entire Mountain,' but it wasn't as catchy.

The all-mountain freestyle shenanigans you have in mind won't be possible if your feet don't have the proper vehicle to get you there. The Rome 390 Snowboard Binding is that properness you're looking for. Whether you're discovering hidden powder stashes or taking your talents to the park, the 390 does it all with its fistfull of tech including a naturally flexing ASYM highback, UnderWrap.2 heel loop, and the pressure-free ConFormist.2 toe strap.
  • 390 ASYM highback is an anatomically correct highback with the curvature to fit the spine of your boot; it's lightweight mid-flexing for park and the rest of the hill, too
  • ConFormist.2 toe strap fits any boot with no gaps and can be run over the top or around the front of the toes
  • V-Rod baseplate reduces the overall footprint without sacrificing the ability to put power to your edges
  • UnderWrap.2 heel loop allows for continuous flex, smoother weight transfer, and maximum energy transmission by wrapping the loop all the way underneath the base plate
  • Contour ankle strap is firm enough to provide all-day support but soft enough to pull tuck-knees off the end of kinked handrails in tight pants
  • SubBase-V pad works behind the scenes to cut out vibration and enhance board feel

Its been fun, but I'm Moving on.

So end of year two with these bindings. I give them credit for a few things. When the work, they work great. Decent Flex, and i liked the overall design of them. But on the flip side, twice my boot strap came undone half way down the mountain. Possible it was just snow that didnt let it fully lock but the second time was pure design flaw. I moved my boot going toe side and looked down to it undone as if i never touched it off the lift. The toe cups are iffy as well. you have to really make sure its square on your toe tip, otherwise you slip right out. Or you have to just use them as a normal binding and go on top of your foot rather then on your toe.

So in the end, Good, but its time to step up to a new binding.

Workhorse Binding

I love the 390 bindings. I've ridden a lot of bindings over the years and find the Rome 390 and 390 Boss bindings to be nothing short of a workhorse binding. They are fully adjustable in almost every way and fit perfectly with my size 12 boots. The straps are very comfortable and I love how you can adjust almost every part of the binding to you needs.

disappointment. sick graphic though...

very very pissed off about these bindings. will be returning very shortly. rode these bindings every day for about a week or 2. have about 30-40 hours of riding on them. the leather is ripping, the toe cups are DESTROYING my boots, and not to mention the toe strap doesn't work under 25 degree weather. i'm so frustrated because half the time when i'm throwing even just a little 3 or 5 over a jump, the bindings just cant hold... don't recommend. at all.

I have these bindings and theyre a comfortable ride with my DC 10.5 boots but it seems as if my boots are a little too bulky to get the best ride out of my bindings. I can't realy use the toe strap so I rock 'em over my toes instead. Does anyone know of a boot that goes well w this binding? Maybe a little slimmer...?

I have huge feet and my thirty twos wouldnt fit in my old bindings because of some rubber on the boot. When i got these romes I almost had the same problem, The toe strap just is a little sketch. I have a pair of burtons that work decent with them but I feel ya.
