Description

The yeti, he is you.

Once upon a time there was a large yeti with huge ol' feet dwelling in the woods. This particular yeti loved to snowboard. And he was good at it, he loved to jib, lap the park, ride powder-filled chutes, and spray skiers. But there was one problem: this oversized biped couldn't find an all-mountain freestyle board that didn't cause his large huge heels and toes to drag in the snow. Boards that did fit were coffin-sized and no fun in the park, which was no good, either. One day, a Rome Agent Rocker Wide Snowboard fell from the sky. He was stoked out of his mind.
  • MtnPop rocker profile puts park-friendly rocker between the feet and furious camber outside of the binding zones
  • QuickRip sidecut technology uses a specical geometry which rides loose and remains playful when going slow, but is also quick and nimble with higher speeds
  • Hot Rods make for great ollies and nollies with the strategic placement of two carbon rods milled directly in both the nose and the tail
  • Impact Edges are beefed up to withstand rocks, rails, and concrete walls
  • SuperPop Core Matrix is a tip-to-tail lightweight wood core engineered for insane pop
  • StraightTriax30 laminate blends a stiff flex for holding an edge and a soft flex manhandle tuck-knees and nose-presses
  • Porus SinteredSpeed base absorbs and holds wax better and rides faster than the extruded-base boards your friends are running

Yeah it works

I bought this board before heading to Japan for a couple of weeks at the start of 2012. It was the first board I'd bought for myself so this review may be a bit biased.

It was awesome.

I'm a beginner/intermediate rider and i had a blast, took whatever i threw at it. Im more of an all mountain rider rather than park so i cant say too much about jibbing and jumps but it took the thickest powder like a champ and survived the bumps and bruises I dished out to it. Heaps of fun!

This boards the jam.

Super, super fun board. I was looking for a little board I could rip pre-season/jib, but I live in Montana where even if your riding to the park, you need an all mountain board. This was the ticket. From swifty park to laps on the triple, this board IS THE JAM. I originally bought last years mod wide and was just not impressed. I think it was too stiff for the width. Like ice skating on a 2x4. Fortunately, Dogfunk hooked a brother up and traded me out (me paying the additional cost of course.) Thats cause Dogfunk is rad. This snowboard is super rad. Couldn't be any happier.
