Rome Agent blows my...mind
This is a sick board. Got lots of pop and i can ride it switch no prob! takes off rock solid and lands with ease. This board is a solid all-around freestyle board. It glides and rides with the best freestyle boards. Super fun to mess around on kickers with.

how is the flex on this?i do park , tons of rails and need a new board this year for park. i was getting a cheaptrick 151, or should i get this?
well dude. this board is pretty versatile. There isn't anything this board can do. The board is pretty sick on jumps because it feels so right, under ur feet. I think it doesn't has as much flex as i would like, but i think its a real winner. If you lived in kinda crappy conditions you should get a skate banana. if you want a more buttery feel go with k2 www rocker or parkstar. all 4 of those are pro. and for the cheaptrick . . . never really heard of it..
if your going straight for rails get a board more dedicated to it..
the agent is great all around but if you just wanna slay rails get some thing along the lines of a kink, box scratcher ect, www something softer

Im looking at getting the Agent, i spend most days riding powder but i want to spend more time in the park hitting kickers and a few rails. would the agent suit this kind of riding?
Unlike the Crail or the Artifact, which have a softer flex and are almost rail specific, the Agent has long been Rome's go to board for riders everywhere who shred the whole mountain and might not know if they'll end up in the park or in a powder field.

what does it mean by almost twin as the board shape? will it effect how you land if you were to land switch?
The Agent is a Freestyle board so you will have no trouble landing switch. The tail is a touch shorter which helps it's all-mountain performance, but not as short as an all-mountain board like the Anthem or Headline.
154 Agent = perfect perfect perfect flex. i went from a rome Artifact which is next level for rails but to soft for riding, to the 154 Agent which is the perfect all around flex. The Agent is a medium-soft board but really snappy so you can butter easily but the board will still be able to pop hard out of it. Pretty much if your a jib monkey get an artifact if you ride anything else get the agent done.
Only one work to describe this board...
Siiick. This board rips park, powder, and everything in between. The flex makes for silky smooth butters, but its still got enough pop to bomb tables all day.
This board is amazing. Simply put. It's control and shock absorption is too much. I didnt believe that it would make that much of a difference, but it has.
Love it!! Easy to Ride.
I purchased a Ride Society at the beginning of the season. After riding a couple times, I decided I did not like it. After purchasing this Rome Agent 158 after the first run, I was in love. This board turns easily and stays stable at speed. I would reccommend this board to anyone who wants to improve their snowboarding experience.
This board has changed my belief that all boards are the same. At the beginning of the season I bought a new Burton Custom and after 3 days of riding it normal, it split down the side opening like a butterfly! I bought this Agent and have used it twice so far... I feel more comfortable hitting rails, jumps, etc. I love the flex this board has but at higher speeds the board still maintains its structure and doesn't wobble. This is an excellent board, and A++++ for backcountry customer service!
I wish this snowboard was a woman so I could elope with her to a faraway place and shred for the rest of our lives. The Agent needs a z-pack because it is SICK. I picked this up from backcountry a couple weeks ago (they're offering a great price right now.) I've got nothing but the best to say about it. I put it through it's paces, hit some rails, massive air, massive wipeouts, powder, a little free riding. It handled like a dream in all conditions. Excellent pop, very flexy and lightweight. The Agent can handle whatever you throw at it. This stick can do the impossible.
I'm an Agent
Yep, I have one too and what more can I say than wow. Wow. For a park board, it is amazing. It has so much pop and butters like nothing else. In freshies, it performs like a champ. Definitely a meat and potatoes board to add to your barrage of snow sticks.
I went from riding a stiff board which I use to love until I took this bad boy out for a spin. It was softer but not a noodle. I have taken it out in pow and had THE BEST time. In hard pack it was great and fast. I would highly recommend this for a true all mountain board. It's not a park only. I never ride women-specific boards so that could be why it's a bit stiffer for me than it would be for a dude. It's an overall fun time board. NO MORE stiff boards for this gal I am all about the flex now. Makes cutting quick turns in trees or traversing so much easier. Oh and get these with the 390 bindings. Greatest set up EVERRRR
awesome shredder like TMNT .. haha !
everyone pretty much nailed my review with everyone else's .. this board's got it all. all-mtn & park killer, crazy pop, stable when bookin' it, easy butter'n .. jay-z said it best .. what more can i say ?!
in a tight spot
the agent will due anything you want it to without any stress. i due everything imagineable with mine and it does it.i did alot of off trail stuff and have no damage to my board un like others.no scraps or any unnormal wear
ROME SDS IS THE BEST.
I have had no problem with Rome, I have 4 of them, you can say I am a fan. I have been snowboarding for 18 years and the AGENT is the best board I have ever ridden, if I could only own one board ever again it would be the agent. Great for park, freeriding, pipe, and powder, there are specific boards for each terrain but do you want to go up to the hill and carry all 5 boards NO, just buy and Agent and kill it all. NUF SAID, oh yeah and Rome is a kick ass company....Burton is lame. Free your mind, dont drink the koolaid, nike is no fun, dont do it!
the board is great but Rome has a horrible warranty program. i had the agent and my edges got all messed up way more than any board should and rome wouldnt do one thing about it.
