Rome Arsenal Snowboard Binding - 2009

Rome made the Arsenal Snowboard Binding for the steeps of places like Whistler, Jackson, and Squaw. So if you haven’t already, book your flight and wax your board—it’s going to be an epic winter. The UnderWrap heel hoop efficiently transfers power to your heel- and toe-side edges for unreal response, and a stiff highback gives you the firepower to destroy demanding lines.

  • Aresenal highback features Rome’s highest level of support for response
  • UnderWrap Heel Hoop transfers power to both edges
  • Toe Ramp conforms to your boot for toeside control
  • ConFormist.1 Toe strap goes around or over your toe for custom fit
  • PF.1 Ankle Strap provides mid-level support for versatility
  • QuickStrap.2 technology makes it easy to fine tune the strap length
  • SubBase and 3-Piece InBase Padding absorb impacts / reduces chatter

Bottom Line: Your all-mountain weapon.

very high quality

These bindings are great, I have last years model and I can say without a doubt that they are higher quality than any other bindings on the mountain. Period. The materials they use are second to none. I don't care much for much of Rome's styling but if you want something that isn't overpriced and made of cheap thin plastic, get a pair from Rome.

No, to avoid heel/toe drag, I'd get a Large.

pretty sick.

Those bindings are really good. I´ve been using them on my rome cheaptrick 08/09 and i love it.
I think that if you dont like those bindings you are doing something whrong with them, ive been jibbing on them and riding the mtn to, nice flex on them, toe/normal strap is sick on them and they are just so simple and great. First after I got them they were not so really great, the toestrap was sometimes fucking things up but you need to set them for your boots. It is really easy and you dont need no screws. After you set them perfectly for your boots, things will work out and there will be no problems.

Cheap

I rode with these last year, got tricked cos I thought the black/white plaid looked sick. They are really cheaply made. The plate under your toes is always sliding forward,no matter how many f'n times you tighten it. I had em ducked out and my back binding actually rotated forward a few degrees while I was riding, and locked back in..? It's like the teeth on your base plate are to weak to hold it. Also there is no room to adjust your highbacks....like it gives you all these holes/slots to move your highback side to side to line it up with your boards edge, but if you do, the screws sit too flush and grind holes while you ride.

At first I thought I just f'd something up, but I took em into 2 board shops and they said WEAK SAUCE
