Rome CrossRocket Snowboard
If you want one board for everything but with characteristics favoring the freestyle arena, the Rome CrossRocket Snowboard just may be your partner in all-mountain freestyle crime. That is, as long as those crimes mean popping ollies over ropes and slow signs, ducking and dodging from ski patrol, and spraying tourists using the entire breadth of the groomers to make one turn. The all-new CrossRocket utilizes true-twin geometry and the innovative new NoHang-Ups Pop camber profile to take you to the untracked chutes in the morning, and to perfect your jib and jump game later on.
- New NoHang-Ups Pop profile with 3D camber features a diamond-shaped cambered area between the feet that gradually lifts slightly and tapers to a point around near the contact points at the tip and tail; outside the diamond, the tip and tail curl to create a concave section that delivers a loose, pressable, and floaty feeling
- Single fiberglass barrel HotRods add pop by milling out the core under the bindings and placing the pop-enhancing additive directly into the board
- QuickRip sidecut uses advanced sidecut geometry to create extra contact points between the feet so it ride with hook-free comfort at low speeds and adds precise grip at high speeds
- ButterOut transition zones extends the transition zone around the outermost contact points for a freestyle-specific feel designed for playing around
- Basalt Impact Plates placed at inserts lengthen the CrossRocket's lifespan by protecting against breakage from heavy impacts on rails and landings
- StraightTriax 30 fiberglass laminate lays 30-degree off-axis fiber strands over the core for a response that has extra snap at high speeds but can hold a press when cruising at mellow speeds
- SuperPop Core Matrix utilizes three zones of low-density wood along with strategically placed poplar which blends in a smoother flex to complement the overall poppy flex
- True twin shape feels the same going switch as it does with your best foot forward
- SinterTrue base is Rome's gateway drug to porous, wax-absorbing compounds that have an addiction to speed
Bottom Line: CrossOver with the CrossRocket.
