Rome Folsom Snowboard Boot - Men's - 2010

Rome team rider Bjorn Leines wears stiff, responsive Rome Folsom boot when charging hard lines and hucking huge backcountry drops but he likes his comfort, too, which is where the new CF.3 liners comes in. The CF.3’s ergonomic QuadZone construction features four different foams in different areas including a thick cushion of memory foam over the ankle J-bar for mind-bendingly plush heel hold. Rome’s innovative InOut lacing system lets you dial the liner fit with a tug of a handle on the outside of the shell—no need to mess with your shell lacing.

  • Progressive Flex panels on the sides of the liner add pop and responsiveness
  • 3D molded EVA shell tongue and 3D laminated liner tongue offer superior flex and fit
  • Lockable zonal lacing allows for fine-tuning of shell fit
  • Lightweight EVA midsole and EVA-rubber outsole cushion big landings
  • Molded 3D foot bed with Outlast absorbs shocks and regulates temperatures for all-day comfort
  • Aegis antimicrobial treatment battles boot stench
  • Molded rubber backstay adds support and is ribbed for better integration with highback

Bottom Line: Get after it.

How do these boots perform? Do they keep your toes warm and heel

How do these boots perform? Do they keep your toes warm and heel down? Also are the liners very cushining? Would you buy them? thanks :)

These boots are about average in terms of warmth, and the heel stays locked in nice and tight once you get used to the in-out liner tightening system. The liners are decent, but the midsole provides plenty of cushion on its own.
Be warned that these are a stiff boot, almost like the Burton Driver X, so more designed for pow/carving/backcountry than the park
