Description

Go for the gold.

All-mountain shredding is the name of the game when you're strapped into the Rome Women's Gold Snowboard. This highly versatile freestyle shred stick features an almost twin shape, meaning it's centered between the contact points but has a slightly longer nose to aid in powder floatation. Its MtnPop Rocker profile is the most versatile Rome's line-up with rocker underfoot for a loose playful feel in the park, plus the ability to plane through deep snow without submerging your nose. Camber extends to the tip and tail contacts for added grip when you're carving and extra snap off big kickers.

Loaded with a SuperPop Core, the Gold delivers plenty of boost for ollies and flying off jumps, thanks to its long poplar wood segments and three separate zones of low-density wood. Adding even more pop, the HotRods-Carbon Single Barrel and Z-Tech 1.0 infuse spring-loaded pop without adding too much torsional stiffness. In fact, Z-Tech 1.0 uses Zylon, a material that's even lighter and poppier than carbon, down the board's centerline for next-level response. Add in an ice-gripping QuickRip sidecut and super-fast SinterSpeed base for all-mountain freestyle performance that makes no compromises, whether you're straight-lining big booters or slashing through a foot of fresh.

  • Almost twin (centered between contacts, slightly longer nose)
  • MtnPop Rocker (rocker underfoot, camber extending to tip, tail)

  • StraightTriax 30 laminates
  • HotRods-Carbon Single Barrel
  • Z-Tech 1.0 (Zylon strip down centerline)
  • QuickRip sidecut
  • SinterSpeed base (sintered)

An all-mountain dream

This is one of the most fun boards I've ever ridden. The rocker-camber shape offers a ton of float in the powder, and also allows it to turn on a dime.
