Rome designed, MFR approved.

Rome rider and women's snowboarding icon Marie France-Roy rides the Women's Lo-Fi Rocker Snowboard when she's stepping up to backcountry features that would make most guys pee their pants. With a versatile flex, a stable, forgiving profile, and pop-boosting features, the Lo-Fi is the perfect board for ladies who kill it on everything from park to powder.

FreePop rocker is flat insert-to-insert with rocker at the tip and tail, for extra float in powder, a forgiving feel on hardpack that can still hold an edge, and solid, stompy landings. PressurePop Basalt Vs extend from under the bindings to the contact points for quick energy transfer, and a HotRods single glass barrel runs down the center of the board to increase pop without adding torsional stiffness. StraightBiax fiberglass makes it loose enough to throw down on rails with, while a poplar core keeps it lightweight and lively. The fast SinterTrue base keeps you cruising through flat zones and traverses, and resists damage from impacts for durability.

  • Mostly flat profile with rocker at tip and tail
  • True twin shape
  • StraightBiax carbon laminate
  • Basalt V stringers
  • HotRods Single Glass Barrel
  • SuperPop Core Matrix wood core
  • SinterTrue sintered base

In Love

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I had some bad board luck earlier this season, so I grabbed this board later on, hoping that I finally found the right one. And I did! I have ridden the Lo Fi Rocker in icy conditions and powder conditions and this board slayed it in both. It's a pretty soft and playful board, so it's good in the park too. But it's not too soft.

I am 5'9 and about 135 pounds and ride the 149.

I paired it with the Union Trilogys and I love the set up.

Favorite board of the on-snow demo

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I absolutely love the Lo-Fi Rocker. I was able to ride it last year at the on-snow demo at Snowbasin and I fell in love. It was the one board that I hung onto for 4 or 5 runs and did not want to give up. I am 5'9" 155 lbs and I rode the 149. The conditions weren't great and this thing just killed it. Rode it on steeps, groomers, ice, jumps, and in the park and it just hands down slayed it. It is a stiff enough board that I would ride it every day while still being able to have fun jibbing around. The Wildcat basically just felt like a slightly softer version of the Lo-Fi, so if you are a smaller girl or tend to ride park everyday I would say go with the Wildcat but for me the Lo-Fi is just right.
