Description

Buy this binding, or sleep with the fishes.

If you're the type who gets stoked on big storms because it means you can go hit rails in the city, the Rome Mob Snowboard Binding makes you an offer you can't refuse. A smooth, tweakable flex, easy adjustability, and plenty of cush make the Mob the binding of choice for Rome's jib capos like LNP.
  • Mob highback is lightweight, flexy, and super-adjustable
  • V-Rod Unibody baseplate allows your board to flex more naturally underfoot, and offers plenty of lateral motion for locked-in presses and styley grabs
  • Cant-In-The-Back technology lets you choose whether or not you want your highbacks angled (canting is often more comfortable for wider stances, but not as necessary for narrow stances)
  • SubBase V-Pad absorbs impact and vibration for a smoother ride at any speed

Great bindings for an intermediate rider

I really like these bindings. If you're looking for something with a lot of flex in the powder and for locking in those presses these bindings are great. The high back flexes with your ankle and lower calf when you take off the lip of a jump or when you have to pop a fat ollie onto a down rail, but still maintains enough rigidity to keep you centered on those overshot landings. The cushioning above the base plate is really thick and absorbs a lot of the impact even when landing flat and the click and slide removal eliminates the need for an extra screw and makes binding adjustments a breeze. The toe cap conforms around the toe of the boot rather than pushing into it, which eliminates pinched toes, a problem I have encountered with many other binding models.all this being said I do have to complain that if you are someone who is looking for a binding that will last through knuckling a 60 footer or you consider yourself an expert rider this is not the binding for you.
I'm 6'1" and 165 pounds and a size 10.5 boot, while the L does run slightly too large I still snapped both the ankle straps where the padding goes across the ankle and where it attaches to the binding frame after only about 6 months of riding . I'll be returning these for something built for a more aggressive rider, but over all pretty great.

I think the MOB bindings would be a great choice with the Forum Contract board. These bindings are very durable and can stand up to any punishment you can throw at them.

Responded on

it should work fine but i wouls sugest with the contract probably the faction or recon bindings by forum for a more comfortable feel

If i purchase these bindings and opt for the fastest postage, how soon would i recieve them? Me being in melbourne AUS..

Responded on

Hey Jon,

It really depends what is available to your area when you fill out the necessary shipping information. The very fastest international method is usually 3-5 business days from when it ships out.

Mobbin!

I love theses bindings! Super light and flexible, these are deffinatly designed with the jibber in mind. They flex really well to really give you that deep press as well as unparalleled tweakability. And there the only binding out there with a High back that you can adjust the canting on. Highly Recomended!!!!

What's the flexibility?

What's the flexibility?

most likely a soft to medium base on the type of riding these are made for.

There pretty soft man, you can almost bend the highback in half. Great for jibbing!
