When the skies bring pow and the covered mountain calls, answer with the Rome Notch Snowboard.
The Rome Notch Snowboard's directional, tapered design gives you insane flotation so you can gun it through the knee-deep on those surreal powder days. This board has a narrow tail and wide nose to pop you up out the pow. Bamboo tail inserts add responsiveness for slashing chutes and provide tremendous pop without increased torsional stiffness. Mountain bevels give this powder board predictable edge hold on firmer snow. The Notch's SinterSpeed base absorbs more wax than any of Rome's other bases to give you unreal speed.

ignore the one bad incident listed by DPC, this board is great. I got the 168 for a pow boar principally, and it rides like a cadillac drives. It eats steeps and pow for breakfast, and carves magnificently. Certainly not an "every day" board, but when you feel like carving with style and riding some deep pow, this is a VERY solid choice.
watch the side wall
I had this board out on the hill less then 2000 vertical feet before I blew up the side wall. It shattered like glass. I love my rome flag and will defently buy another rome in a second. If your mountian is know for rocks like big sky is this board is not for you.
