Description

Welcome to your new ride.

A reverse-camber shape gives the Rome Postermania 1985 Snowboard a ridiculously buttery feel that you’ll love when you hit the rails and boxes. This limited edition board slays a terrain park whether you’re throwing down sevens on the table tops or jibbing every feature you can find. Rome also added a SinterSpeed base to help you avoid coming up short on some massive backcountry gap—unless you like casing the knuckle at full speed.

sick ass board

The postarmania 153 is my favorite board ever ridden. I have an older graft 153 and loved it and is pretty similar but the poster is wayy better. Huge amount of pop, butters amazing rides pow is sick with it and is the best handling board i have ever ridden. Fast as hell base it is prety mellow over jumps handles awesome at high speeds rails are prety smooth feeling with it. The only bad thing about it is the canvas patch on the top, it rips off prety easily. This board shreds!!

i've seen on some sites it is a directional twin and on some it's a true twin does anyone know what this board actually is?

I am 200 lbs. I live in ohio near the michigan border. Im thinking about picking up either the rome postermania or a burton fix. I ride smaller moutains like mt holly, mad river, alpine and occasionally go to boyne. I already have a gnu riders choice 154.5 with mtx and im looking for a board with more flex and better butters. just looking to see what would compliment this board. I really wanted a graft 152 but this board is the same core and with the rocker. Looks like next year everyone is going rocker..

good question, im actually in the same boat as you and im saving up for the fix, but thats just because im buying into the whole EST/ICS nonsence, and ive read amazing reviews for the fix saying its the most fun board out there to ride, with good, but not rediculous flex like the domonant. so yeah...fix

rome postermania

I just got these board and took it up to killington, vt. It snowed 26 inches when I was there and this board handled great in the fresh powder. I am 5"11 180lbs with the 156. This board was so easy to butter. I could always do tail presses and manual good, but this board made it that much easier. Felt like i was getting a little bit more pop on my 3's with this board. I have always rode rome boards and this is by far my favorite board.

I wear a size 12 boot. The sizing chat says I need a 255-260mm wide waist. Will the 156 Postermania work for me? If not, any thoughts on the reverse camber all mountain? Notch 1986 maybe?

yeah a little too narrow for you...and rocker boards are amazing in powder, soft and flexy, butter like crazy, a jibbers best fried, make it really hard to catch an edge and just provide a very very enjoyable riding experience but cant hold up to bigger runs as well as camber boards
