Description

Versatile and value-packed, with extra width for your oversized dogs.

Got big boots and looking for an all-mountain freestyle board that can handle pow lines in the morning and park laps in the afternoon? The Rome Reverb Rocker Wide Snowboard offers a poppy yet playful ride that will have you throwing new tricks everywhere from log jibs to the jump line, thanks to a MtnPop hybrid profile, QuickRip sidecut, and just enough carbon to boost big ollies without messing with the Reverb's mostly-mellow flex.

  • MtnPop hybrid profile uses playful, floaty rocker between your feet with grippy, poppy camber zones in the tip and tail for a powerful yet forgiving ride
  • StraightBiax Carbon laminate for a mellow, surfy flex with plenty of longitudinal snap
  • Durable, tip-to-tail wood Pop Core Matrix with fiberglass HotRods for extra ollie/nollie power
  • Basalt impact plates absorb and dampen energy for a durable, smooth ride
  • QuickRip sidecut uses 2 radii with an extra contact point in-between, for a short and jibby feel at low speed, and a more stable and grippy feel at high speed
  • True twin shape for a consistent feel both regular and switch
  • SinterTrue base for plenty of speed and crystal-clear base graphics

Hi there,

I'm 6'2 and about 160 - 165 lbs. I have about 10 days of experience in total. The boot I was using last time was 46 (11.5 US).
Which size do think would fit me better? I was thinking of the 160, 158W or 161W. Thanks!

Hey,

Where you ride will have to do with the sizing as well. I wouldn't go larger than the 158 if I were you. Your weight is more important than your height when sizing. I'm about the same weight as you, same foot size, and only 2 inches shorter and I ride a 156W for my all-mountain board. I am an experienced rider though. I would go with the 158W if I were you. I think that is a great size for you to progress on. Eventually, if you get into more freestyle riding, I would go down to a 156 for an all-mountain board. I ride Snowbird and would only ever ride a 158-160W on super deep days.

All Mtn Slayer

I can't believe how fun this board is. I've ridden a lot of boards from Rome and this is one of my favorites. I'd never ridden anything with the MTN POP camber profile until now, and I'm a believer. Super fun and playful when you want it to be, and hard charging when you need it. I rode it again yesterday and went from choppy groomers to a little bit of pow with no problem. Such a rad board at a great price.

Excellent Board

Ever since I sold my Rome Graft back in 2010, I rode just about every board out there, but nothing could compare. Lib banana magic, Skate banana, Ride DH, Jibstick, Flow era, Park Pickle and the list goes on and on... I decided to go with the reverb rocker because its the same shape as the old Graft but better technology. Let me say, this is the most fun board I have ridden in a very long time. Super forgiving, light weight and very very responsive at low speeds. Ive been riding for 15+ years and i ride everything from pow to park. This thing does it all and thats what i love. Very soft playful board, but very stable with good pop. The base is better than I thought it would be. Very fast and doesnt even look used after a full day of hard riding. Its even very stable on ice. I love Rome snowboards and Im never ever switching again. I also paired this board with the Rome 390 boss bindings and its just a blast. Cant say enough about it

good buy

This is a nice board. Super forgiving yet very responsive. Quick edge to edge. The camber design is sweet. A normal camber you would normally over rotate on a spin catch an edge and eat it, With this rocker you can just butter around and save it. Tons of pop and floats pretty good in pow. All around a good board!

im 5'10 145lb. what size should I get I am mostly going to be in the park with it but occasionally picking up some speed on groomed runs

You could go with either the 153 or 155. You are tall, and pretty light weight. If you are going to ride powder at all then go 155. If you are going to stick to the park and groomers then go 153.
