Designed with a resounding 'Hellzyeah!'
With all the rockers and hybrids and miracle profiles floating around these days, it's easy to forget how fun traditional camber is. For loads of pop and laser-precise edge control, it's tough to beat good-ol' camber. Rome remembers. The Reverb is Rome's medium flex, all-mountain, do-anything snowboard. And what profile do you suppose they used for their get-it-all done snowboard? Traditional camber, of course. Built to carve, built for air, built for kickin' it old school.
The folks at Rome laid up the Reverb with tried-and-true wood laid tip-to-tail. Two zones of lightweight wood team up with poplar for smooth, predictable flex and loads of pop. Then they added rods made with carbon, basalt, and fiberglass at the tip and tail to stiffen it up a bit and add even more pop to the mix. Rome's designers also added basalt impact plates under the binding inserts to eliminate compression caused by high-impact landings, and finished off the Reverb with a fast, durable sintered SinterTrue base.
