During the depths of winter, wear your Rome Men’s Rivington Down Jacket when you snowboard. Fluffy down traps air that your body heats up, so you stay toasty while you sit on the chairlift or wait to drop into the pipe. Wrist gaiters and a powder skirt on the Rome Rivington seal out spindrift when you go snorkeling through freshies, and underarm vents let you dump heat should the arctic wind quit blowing. The 10K-rated waterproof fabric protects both you and the down from getting soaked.

Stick to making boards ROME

Rome should stick to what they do best, making snowboards. I have a rome anthem 162 and I love it so I am down with rome.
This jacket had great intentions, but fails horribly. The design is nice, there are some thoughtful details like the handwarmer pockets and the magnets in the closure flap over the zipper but the seams are mostly single stitching and on a down jacket, thats never good, the powder skirt is about as useful as a snow shovel, actually it works really great at that because when you fall in pow, it shoves it up your shirt, and the zippers themselves barely open and close without snagging on something.
I picket this jacket up on WM so I didn't pay too much for it, but here are better choices out there, this jacket goes into the work clothes pile... thanks rome.

Please stop this...

I liked what Rome came up with for their outerwear styles, and this is a warm and comfortable jacket with great functional features. However, the construction is cheap, chinese, and not standing up to very much snowboarding. I'd be willing to pay for well built stuff. Rome needs to correct this. If I have to buy another jacket next season, it won't be a Rome.

Awesome puffy jacket

Wore this jacket to Breckenridge this past 09 season and it will keep you damn warm in the windiest and coldest conditions. Had no problems with it, loved the left arm pocket, tons of internal pockets, and the lift pass pocket. Also, the two handwarmer pockets will keep your mitts seriously..well..warm! Bare hands will literally start sweating in a few minutes if left in those toasty pockets. Great jacket overall and not too puffy for non mountain use.
