Collector's item.

It's easy to forget how fun traditional camber is. For loads of pop and laser-precise edge control, it's tough to beat good ol' camber. The Rome Women's Vinyl Snowboard keeps the camber dream alive for those who value pop and control above all else. The Vinyl is a versatile, all-mountain board that will take the intermediate rider to the next level.

The folks at Rome laid up the Vinyl with tried-and-true wood laid tip-to-tail. Two zones of lightweight wood team up with poplar for smooth, predictable flex and loads of pop. Then they added rods made with fiberglass at the tip and tail to stiffen it up a bit and add even more pop to the mix, and finished off the Vinyl with a fast, durable sintered SinterTrue base.

  • Traditional camber
  • Almost twin shape
  • Fiberglass HotRod stringers
  • Pop core matrix
  • SinterTrue sintered base

Awesome Women's Board

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I ride everywhere on the mountain from the park to cruiser laps to the backcountry and I loved this board. I am 5'7 and I rode a 151cm and even though it is a little bigger than what I normally would like to shred on (147cm) I felt like I had a lot of control with this board.
Huge fan of traditional camber and this board is great for that intermediate to expert rider who needs a board to go everywhere on the mountain.
The only thing I had an issue with is how fast the board became a noodle. I am a pretty aggressive rider and the board just became too flexy and didn't hold up at high speeds like I need.
I'll be most likely be cutting this board into a split board and using it for as long as I can.
