Hard to say which is more scary-good; the versatility or the graphics.

I just got my new Rossi Angus on the 14th , it was recommended to me by one of the Dogfunk Gear Ninjas.......I did some research afterward and decided to get it. I got to go out and shred with it today and I just want to say Thank you to Dogfunk ninjas, and to anyone else who is thinking of maybe getting the stick......DO IT!! I had the most fun on this board since I started snowboarding, it is VERY responsive and ALOT of pop and is just straight sick to ride. I've been a little skeptical about the rocker boards and especially the new type of rockers like the Angus with Rossi's Amptek technology, NOT ANYMORE, this board ROCKS!!!!
another angus in the books!!
I LOVE THE ANGUS!!! This is the best all around board. I have last years board! My girl got me this years board! I am so LUCKY!! This board is got so much! Easy to ride SWITCh! FLOATS ON POW! IT ROCKS!! I'm 5'3" 200 lbs. size 7 boot! I don't what you are but this board rocks every every where. From Park to Powder! Its GREAT!
I ride a lot of the wasatch slackcountry and was stoked when i ordered this board being that Rossignol dubbed this board a ripper. I have rode this board for a month and have already broke the deck in two spots on the nose and tail both of which are not covered by the warranty. I guess this board is good if you stick to the park, ride crud, or step lightly. I would not recommend this board if you like to drop decent sized resort access sidecountry lines, slash deep pow (the board crumbles), or go down the mountain as fast as possible. I also think Rossignol should stand by the products they manufacture and make things right with the people who pay hard earned money for their subpar attempts at snowboarding.
Another question! Sorry guys Im new in the...
Another question! Sorry guys Im new in the board-world!
This board comes in 153cm, 157cm and 161 cm and the sizing chart says that a board thats 161cm fits a rider thats 73 kg but I weigh 84 kg approx. Would it be totally stupid to buy the 161cm then?
Yeah I know imma noob, but id rather be a noob that asks stupid questions than waste my money and ruin my time in the snow! :D
Best regards! Oliver -DK
Nah depends on what your height is and riding preference, if your gonna be hitting the park a smaller board is better for control and a larger board for cruisin down the mountian whats your height? thats a big factor
A snowboard has no idea how tall you are, that is completely irrelevant. 84kg is what, about 190 pounds? You would be fine on a 161. It also depends on the kind of riding your gonna do too. For example: I weigh 215 pounds and ride a 158, but it's on the ice coast, small hills(no vert), and half park half freeride.
i got the last years model of this board. at first i was VERY skeptical about rossi, being a burton rider my whole life. but it was on sale and i was broke and needed a board. so i broke down and bought it. first day: i strap it on, and notice "holy hell this is a light board" my burton from 07 was a clunker, so this was a HUGE difference. so i get to the top of the hill and fly down the runs the fastest i have EVER gone on any board. this thing just HUGGED the runs, never caught an edge, kept its balance really well. the only thing that this board ever had an issue with was ice, but the icy runs were graded really weird (why build a run that skirts along the edge of a cliff and have it 10 degrees downhill slant to the left?) handles absolutely amazing in pow, and does great on technical runs with moguls (YES I PUT MYSELF THRU THAT HELL!) cant really keep up in the park compared to a libtech board as this board runs very fast, and you can definitely lose control in the park if you dont watch it. i had a bad issue with overshoot going to this board cause its so fast. it does however have ALOT of pop to it.
all in all, its a great board, maybe not ideal for a beginner, but not so terribly advanced that a beginner wouldnt be able to ride it.
