Roxy Torah Bright Jacket - Women's - 2009

Torah Bright’s Gold Medal record shows she’s one of the best snowboarders around, and clearly she has some design sense too. She partnered with Roxy’s designers to create the Roxy Women’s Torah Bright Jacket, which offers durable waterproofing, taped seams, and fluffy Primaloft Sport insulation. Clearly the jacket’s ladylike looks sweeten the deal—a double-breasted front flap and satin fabric create a very feminine look. Mesh-lined vents, a powder skirt, and hand gaiters amp up the jacket’s on-mountain practicality.

Bottom Line: Performance meets shininess. We love it.

Not for Canadian Winters!

As far as looks go, this jacket is awesome! i have it in the red. The sad part is that it doesn't hold up on the rocky mountain ski slopes, the brisk air cuts right through the fabric. The chairlift especially. The jacket being rather loose in the waist and hips just adds the to cold air retention, thank god for the powder skirt to keep a bit of that cold air out. However, if you wear this for errands or on average days going here and there, its truly lovely. Hope this helps!

Torah's jacket is also one of my favorites. it's silky inside and really warm. I love the giant hood and the oversized neck area. I can bury my face on cold days to keep toasty. the magnet buttons are a great feature too, they look stylish as well.
