Description

A do-it-all know-it-all.

Whatever the question, the answer is the Salomon Answer Snowboard. Powder day? The Answer’s direction twin shape and elevated tip and tail help you float it with ease. Cruising top-to-bottom? The Answer’s regular camber and quadratic sidecut enable total edge control and smooth edge-to-edge transitions. Hanging in the park? The Answer’s Popster core and bamboo laminates enhance pop for extra air time.
  • Wingtips profile gives you regular camber for pop and control at speeds, combined with elevated contact points at the tip and tail for easy turn initiation and catch-free spinning.
  • Eco-friendly ABC Wrapper construction replaces harsh layers of fiberglass and resin with bamboo veneers to save weight and enhance snap
  • Popster Core varies the core thickness to highlight the wood’s natural snap
  • Bamboo + Rubber rails suspension dampens chatter and protects edges from blowout
  • Ultra-fast Sintered EG base provides superior wax retention and is reinforced with Gallium for extra impact resistance

Hey im looking to buy my first board as im off to canada to work and go snowboarding, ive only snowboarded for about 2 weeks and im wondering if this is a good board to get my skills good and then progress my skill level further, if anyone can help that would be awesome!

Hi Jakob if your looking for your first board i would go with a soft forgiving board. And a twin board might not even be a horrible idea well your trying to figure out wither your goofy or regular. I would look more at a park style board even if you don't plan to be in the park much because they will be easier for you to learn on and be a little easier on your wallet as well. You also might think about a board with a reverse camber or rocker because these type of boards cut down on edge catching witch when your learning might not be a bad thing. I would check these boards out if i were you.....

And take a good look at the Forum Holy Molly board it has forums combo-platter witch is a traditional camber with raised edges to cut down on edge catching i think that it would be the best board for the job
