Turn on the afterburners and rip mountain terrain on the Burner Snowboard.

At the peak of freeride technology stands Salomon's Burner Snowboard. Using Salomon's Era 3D construction, the Burner is torsionally supple for high maneuverability at low speeds, and excellent control at high speeds. The multi-density wood core has the most-dense wood around the edges to give you precise edge response. The Zeolit sintered base makes the Burner fast in any snow conditions, but it likes powder the best. If big drops, open powder fields and steep couloirs are your favorite places to ride, then this tapered directional board is the one you should be strapping onto.

2 Burner broken in 10 days!!!

My burner was broken lengthside after only 4 days. My dealer found a new one for me. Now the same hapens after few days. Salomon still says, that my case is unique. Is that so?

Responded on

I've had 3 Salomon Burners break on me. It's NOT due to anything that I've done. The core splits apart lengthwise and then the bottom of the board gets cracks in it. This happened on two different years of the burner, with different bindings used each time. The first two were under warranty and now the third time is not. For a $650 board this isn't acceptable.
