A custom-feeling boot that gets out of the way and lets your riding do the talking.
The Salomon Men's Dialogue Snowboard Boot provides excellent board feel and eliminates painful hot spots so your feet won't be talking back after a full day of shredding. Billed mainly as a freestyle boot, the Dialogue's medium flex rating makes it a candidate for all-mountain domination, as well. It begins with an articulating cuff and the ZoneLock dual quicklace system that lets you nail your ideal fit. The Balance 2 liner displaces lace pressure from the top of your foot to
around the key holding areas of the arch and above the heel for a locked-in feel. For increased comfort and max foothold, Custom Fit has heat-moldable foam strategically placed in the sensitive areas of the foot, shin, ankle, and heel. Mystically efficiently, the Mystic 2 footbed draws on the principles of reflexology to increase blood circulation and prevent fatigue, and fights foot odor while it's at it. And the Lo-Fi EVA and rubber outsole, as its name implies, just gets out of the way and lets you ride with a low-profile skate-inspired feel.

- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Salomon has always made great snowboard boots and this is no exception. I had to get dialed into the right boot but once I did, it was game on! These aren't the stiffest boots in the world so if you are looking to bomb it down the hill and want something really stiff there are better boots out there for that. This is an all mountain boot. You can take it where ever you want on the mountain and it responds well. I would not recommend get last year's Dialogue boot. The toe box is WAY too long! Salomon fixed the problem from last year and have produced a very comfortable all mountain boot. Get a pair of these, as Backcountry say "you'll be stoked."
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
The lacing system come loose all day long. The boot it the softest boot I've ever put on, most likely because the inner boot move so much. When you lean foward the entire boots shift forward, there is no stability just movement, it feels like your riding in ankle high shoes the entire time
