im just looking for a nice backyard/jib board and i was looking at the sanchez but it doesnt come in a 142 soo would this kinda be like the sanchez in ways?

No, this is built from the ground up for a kid, it's got a softer base and is not as lively. The Sanchez is available in a 148, you can get buck in the backyard on a 148 all day long.
