Salomon designed the Grip for the rider who shreds the whole mountain, from the park to the sidecountry, and who needs a board that can handle it all. The true twin shape lets you go switch without any drama, and the medium flex will have you shredding the park and ripping the groomers without any surprises.
- Pow Rocker combines a rockered tip and tail with a flat area between the bindings for better edge control
- Equalizer blends three straight lines (instead of the traditional curved sidecut) for hook-free turning and easy entry and exit with each turn
- Popster is a shaped wood core profile that gives the board a snappy feel
- Advanced bamboo construction (ABC) blends natural materials for a ride with more pop and less plastic

This board kills it in just about any riding condition. Park, pipe, pow, high-speed groomers you name it. My only complaint about it is that the equalizer edge doesn't hook up on ice or hard pack very well. However it makes turn-initiation super easy. The reason I'm giving it a 3 is because the core snapped when I landed tail heavy from a 30 ft jump. Can't believe it snapped so not to sure about the build quality. If it held up I would have given it a 4.5!
