Salomon Snowboards Gypsy Snowboard - Women's - 2010

Tie on a headscarf, buckle on some bells, and turn the park into your own personal traveling sideshow on the Salomon Women’s Gypsy Snowboard. Like pro rider Desiree Melancon, you can work the Salomon’s Pres-sure Rockqualizer profile, which combines a jibby full- rocker ride with the Equalizer sidecut for under-foot edge control and confidence wherever you roam on the mountain.

  • True twin shape accommodates random urges to ride switch
  • Popster Core varies the core thickness to highlight the wood’s natural snap
  • Durable sintered base absorbs wax easily for a fast ride
  • Royal Rubber Pads dampen vibrations and absorb impact for a smoother ride
  • Transworld Good Wood award winner, 2010

Bottom Line: Make some wild music.

This board is so sick!

I'm the kind of snowboarder who likes originality ! The kids in my town aren't too familiar with Salomon .As a matter of fact, most never heard of this brand. Thats one of the reasons why I decided to step outside the box, and am I ever stoked that I did!!!It is a totally solid board but has amazing flex appeal .And yes .. I also love the graphics . I wasn't used to riding the reverse camber at first but now that I'm used to it I wouldn't ride anything else !

I got union milans on mine, and they're sick! (I got white, and if you like a very white setup they are good, but i wish i had gotten black for some contrast (and o they dont get as dirty lookin lol))

Soloman makes pretty rad bindings as well. I've had the solomon poisons for four years and they still look brand new and in style. Its worth it to pay a little more cuz then your not having to replace toe straps like every other week!

This is a really cool board to ride. The equalizer sidecut is much different from a radial one, and it took me a few runs to get used to it, but it was super fun. It is rockered, so pop isn't outstanding, but its super flexy. The flex is more on the tip and tail of the board, and it's stiffer through the middle for stability when going really fast so unlike normal noodle boards, this board can handle bombing down the hill with minimal chatter. It held an edge pretty well on ice too!
