Go anywhere, shred everything.
There's no reason to sacrifice performance under varied conditions or bring three different boards to the mountain when you've got the Salomon Assassin Wide Snowboard. Ridden by Salomon shred phenoms Wolle Nyvelt and Taka Nakai, the Assassin was created to be a quiver killing, all-terrain freestyle master. The Assassin wide features the very same tech as the regular Assassin, it simply adds a wider waist to accommodate those with larger feet. Salomon created the Assassin Snowboard by merging together two of their highly acclaimed boards—the pow-friendly Sick Stick and the park-destroying Villain. The result is a board that has enough guts to charge steep chutes, plenty of float needed for fresh lines, yet is playful enough to spin park laps.
Key to the Assassin's all-terrain prowess, the Rock Out Camber profile features a flat profile between the feet for stability, camber near foot for response and pop, and rockered tip and tail for added float. Featuring a true twin shape, the Assassin is great for tricking off everything in sight, both regular and switch. Built with Advanced Bamboo Construction and bamboo rods, the Assassin has a snappy, lively feel for popping over anything standing in your way. Additional key features with this board include a Sintered EG base for high-speed antics, freestyle edge bevel to prevent hang-ups, and Royal Cork Rails for added dampening.
