By now you're probably sick of seeing boards labeled as all mountain freestyle, but there's really no more accurate description for the Salomon Assassin snowboard. This mid-stiff, true twin stick more than holds its own for park laps, but it really comes into its own once you start treating the entire mountain like one massive park. The Rock Out gives you the control of a cambered board, but it's easier to ride with the rockered tips, so you get the best of both worlds. That means full control on hardpack, with tons of float in the deep stuff. Factor in the super-fast sintered base, and grippy EQ Rad sidecut, and you're looking at a one-board quiver that's ready for everything the season throws its way.
The Assassin runs a true twin shape for unlimited freestyle action, switch or regular. The Aspen SLCT core is light, poppy, and insanely durable. There's a sintered base, which holds a bunch of wax and slides lightning-fast. The EQ Rad sidecut is a blend of flattened sections, which result in kinks in the sidecut that give you extra grip on firm snow, without sacrificing speed. Royal Cork Rails are a lightweight sidewall additive that gives you chatter-killing damping without adding weight. And the Rock Out profile looks like a cambered board with a rockered tip and tail, but when you step on it, it flexes into a full rocker. The result is the loose, floaty ride of rocker, with extra pop for ollies.

This board is designed to slay the whole mountain and thats exactly what it does. Turns the whole mountain into a terrain park. Handles anything like a champ. One of my favorite boards ever!
