Testosterone-fueled fun.

No need to become a lumberjack, grow a beard, or build a log cabin with your bare hands when you can boost your manliness by strapping into the Salomon Man's Board. As Bode Merrill's board of choice for back, side, and frontcountry excursions, the Man's Board crushes supersized backcountry booters, huge AK lines, and park jumps with ease.

A directional twin shape allows for freestyle fun and switch trickery but features a slightly setback stance to aid in powder floatation. Throw in some snappy bamboo courtesy of ABC Green Roll construction, dampening Royal Cork sidewalls, and bombproof Ghost basalt stringers and you've got one hell of an all-terrain freestyle snowboard. Additional noteworthy features include the use of a light and poppy Ghost Green wood core and a super fast sintered EG base.

  • Camber between the feet, rocker on the tip and tail
  • Directional twin shape with slight setback
  • ABC Green Roll construction with bamboo and Ghost basalt stringers
  • Ghost Green wood core selected from sustainable light wood
  • BA MD fiberglass: medium density European-made fiberglass layers
  • Sintered EG base
  • Quadratic sidecut
  • Royal Cork sidewalls
  • All Mountain edge bevel
  • Note: colors and graphics on diecut bases vary; we can’t guarantee what one you’ll get

Great Board if you dont like being bored

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this board as a back up or powder board and its really hard not to make it my primary. The camber is perfect, great flex you cant really ask for more than this. Oh and a B.A. graphic.

Camber never felt so good!

If you go on riverboat gambling trips, and make our own beef jerky this board is for you. If you like to putts around the mountain and never leave your comfort zone you should look else where. The board grips like a traditional camber yet doesn't have those annoying contact points. They have replaced that sections of board with a subltle rocker zone. This is a pretty stiff/strong board if you fall in the recomended weight range. I am about 175-180 and ride the 156 and can lean back as far as I want and the board can take it. I honestly haven't been this stoked on a board in a long time. It's a go fast and ride hard type of board. It's almost like the board is asking you to find steeper terrain and and bigger lines. It has a very stable and consitent flex which creates some very nice pop. The EG Sintered Base is really hard and can take quite a bit of impact and scaping before damage occurs. Let's put the women and children to bed and go lookin' for dinner! I mean Powder!

I have rode this board for a month and a half and it has broke in a ton. The flex is much different now than before.

If it starts at a 7 flex, what rating do you think it would be at now?

this would be tough to say. I consider it a nice mid-flex board now. It by no means is a noodle but it doesn't take you for a ride anymore either. I can still hit all the gnar I want, just now park laps and jibbing is fun and enjoyable as well.

Very Responsive and Strong

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I rode this board most of the 2012-2013 season and it holds its own with every type of riding! That includes: Freeriding, Powder, Jumps and Rails. It floats great in powder with the raised/rocker nose and tail. I loved this board and would suggest it to any snowboarder who loves to do it all! It is the prefect board for everything!
