Designed with UK freestyle monster Jamie Nichols in mind, the Salomon Sabotage Wide Snowboard gets amped for kicker lines, park jibs, and all-mountain trickery. Nearly identical to the regular Salomon Sabotage, the Sabotage Wide adds a wider waist width to accommodate those with feet sized over 11. Its true twin shape is responsible for much of the Sabotage's freestyle performance, and allows for an identical switch riding experience. The Sabotage Wide features Salomon's Flat Out Camber for the stability of a flat-based board with all the pre-loaded pop found in pure camber boards. A medium flex makes this board extremely versatile and ready to attack the entire mountain with gusto.
Under the hood of this freestyle machine is an Aspen Strong core, which is crafted from high-density FSC certified wood strips—resulting in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex. A Popster core profile maximizes the natural snap and powerful pop found within wood, for the feeling of snapping a skateboard kicktail every time you load up to ollie. For great edge hold in a large variety of conditions, EQ 5 sidecut uses 5 straight lines for extra precision and control. Additional noteworthy features include Royal Rubber for increased dampening, BA MD fiberglass for light and lively feel, and a sintered base for high-speed riding and increased wax absorption.
