Sector 9 Skateboards Deserts Longboard - 2011

If you split equal time cruising hills and slaloming moving obstacles on the sidewalk, the Sector 9 Deserts Longboard will help you get your jollies. Snappy seven-ply maple and a moderate concave respond quickly to keep you in control, and while the mini-kicktail isn't so rad for popping tre flips, it helps you un-weight the front end to avoid faceplanting off curbs (or even pop emergency ollies, if you're on your game).

  • Wheel colors on completes may vary, but the deck graphic will be as pictured

Bottom Line: Deserts, not desserts.

Deserts longboard

Highly recommended for beginners, I got this board about four days ago and I already feel very comfortable on it, being that I have only used a longboard once before. You will see reviews that say Sector 9 does not have the highest quality, but i can tell you everything works perfect. I would not spend a ton of money on your first board because its going to get beaten up pretty quick, so this board works great.

Note: The trucks come pretty loose, which is great for carving but is easier to get speed wobble. I don't Know very much about longboards, but the sector 9 deserts works amazing.
