I rode the 78a's on my s9 spoontail and it was a magical combination. They did chip a little bit on the edges but I rode them extremely hard. Great grip when you need it, but they will get loose when you really push into them. No complaints at all with this wheel. They did offer a pretty smooth ride even on unfavorable surfaces.

they've got just enough softness to absorb even the worst ride while still keeping it's speed. they're alright for sliding and wicked fast if you've got good bearings.

The race formula urethane has a higher rebound rate than normal urethane. This means that the wheels "come back to center" faster than normal which makes for quick toe-to-heel carving with security beneath your feet. The 82a durometer wheels slide really nicely.
