The 65mm 78a nineballs showed up today, took about an hour to break them in and as soon as the mold release wears off the only way to describe the slide is sugary goodness. Like abec 11 classic thane is smooth, but these are sugary. Smooth transition from grip to slip, no chattering, and a satisfying slide sound. The only downside is that they are small to start with and are shedding thane at a decent rate, but the trade off is amazing slides. Definitely recommended if you don't mind some smaller wheels.
The pic just goes to show that the thane literally rolls right off these guys when you slide.

Best freeride wheel ever. Slides buttery smooth on any pavement. Don't expect to rail corners on these. Some cores are sloppy loose but do not cause any chatter. Get that secret sauce!
