Poorly Sized

The sizing on these is just plain defective. I've had previous years models that fit fine. For this year (2010/2011) I ordered my usual small. The waist was huge and the knee pads we more like shin guards. I had them send another pair in case it was just a mistake, but the other pair fit just as poorly so I returned them both.
Sessions quality really has been slipping in the past few years. 3 years ago they were my favorite brand... now I'm afraid to buy from them.
Knee pads are too low

I would recommend 1 size smaller than you would normally choose. I wear 34x34 jeans and knee the pads of the size large were 1 inch below my knees. Look closely at the photos, and you can see the fu*ked up placement of the pads (looks like shin pads). I will exchange the L for an M, if you don’t hear back from me by 1/15/10, consider me a satisfied customer with 1 size smaller.
Alright heres what I did: I took them to the tailor and had him raise the knee pads to fit on my knees (still seems wrong that Sessions did not discover this problem during product testing). Now they fit like shorts but that is cool because it is just one less thing to stuff into my boots. So unless you are willing to shell out another @25 to the tailor I would not recommend these until Sessions pulls their head out of their as$. JD 1/22/11

i see what your saying about the placement of the pads... but think about it.. when you kneel down what part of your pants are you kneeling on?
when you fall, or just kneel, the section of your pants that was on your knee when standing is actually above you knee when you kneel... plus the fact that most knee impacts happen to the patella tendon area (lower knee cap) ... so if the pads fit somewhere around an inch below the knee then when they are actually needed (i.e. a fall, or a long wait on an icy slope looking uphill for your freinds) the pads would fit in the right place.
