Love the baggy fit and it does a pretty decent job of keeping you warm even in the nastiest weather. Was just up in Mammoth and with windchill it was about 15-20 degrees. Never felt cold wearing this jacket even though it isn't insulated and is only a 5k/8k shell. My only complaint is that the sleeves seemed just a little too short as when I tightened the gauntlets on my mittens sometimes the sleeves would come out partially but that was easily fixed with some adjustments to the cuffs. Otherwise the pockets are very secure and it looks gangsta.

XL will be perfect. I'm 6 feet and the large actually fit a little snug. you'll be stoked on the XL for sure.

its suppose to be baggy but well fitting at the same time, Large would be alright, because it would work well with your height and give u that shredder look, but if u want to go like way shredder look at XL. plus extra baggyness if ur all about that gangsta look i guess.... da bomber... but it's up to you...follow the sizing chart bro that bby helps.

careful with your sizing

I actually had to return this jacket, I usually (in all other brands) fit a medium to large but in this on the large was HUGE! so depending on the fit you like be careful what size you select. Unfortunately there were none of my size left so i didn't get to have this style of jacket. That being said it was a great jacket nicely made, well taped seams, good pockets, etc... and the style is just sick, this jacket makes a big statement and is well worth while. It is a decent jacket warmth wise but what it lacks it makes up for with space inside to wear a layer.Just go try the sizing on in a store before you order.

sessions fit is very baggy. I tend to judge overall length based on sleeve length. This jacket's sleeve length is a 37 for a large....that's pretty long...abnormally long....I would think you need a large for baggy steeziness, or a medium if you want it a bit snugger, either way it should go past your ass!

Colors that blind you!

As the review below said: the pictures do not do the Paradise Blue color scheme justice. When I opened the package I nearly fell over. I though someone had made the whole thing glow in the dark, the colors are that bright. I love it.

The technical part of the jacket is where it should be. It feels a little heavy for a shell but then again, its for flozzing in the park, not hiking the mountains.

Bottom line: Love at first sight but a little on the heavy side.

Hey Mitch,
I'm 5-7, 140 and the medium fits me about perfectly. It depends on how baggie you like to go. The jacket isn't super warm so I usually have to layer with a fleece under it, but it's very waterproof. With the fleece it's a comfortable fit, and on warmer days its baggy without looking trashy.

This jacket is great, it has lots of great features like the avalanche finding chip, a whistle is the zipper and lots of pockets for your music player ever your iPhone.
Besides keeping you pretty warm.

Responded on

Just a friendly notice.

The Recco chip (the avalanche finding chip) is not a safety precaution. The only thing that will help eider you or your friends if you get struck by an avalanche is that you all have (and know how to use) avalanche beacons.

The Recco is a "passive radio transmitter" that is activated by a radio field/electromagnetic waves. The waves reacts with the Recco chip and makes it transmit a radio frequency. The gear to activate the chip is normally fitted to a standby helicopter at base camp of HUGE resorts - your local mountain probably does not have this equipment.

If you survive being struck by an avalanche the first 20 minutes are essential for your survival. I'm sorry to say the Reacco gear wont reach you in time.

In sort: Recco is for finding your remains, not survival.

Responded on

why would they stick a chip in there for that? I thought saving lives was more important than being cheap? Oh well, you never know what that white powder has in store for anyone.

How is the insulation in this jacket? Could it with stand -20 degrees with windchill?

Responded on

it could not stand 20 below, not without a fleece sweater or wool underwear underneath, it`s more of a easter jacket really, realy good fit and great design thow...

does the hood impair fast fast fast runs away from the park, or when trying 2 pick up the speed needed 2 hit the big one??!! does it flap up?

Responded on

No. Your helmet will block any wind to the hood anyway, unless you're a complete idiot and don't wear one.

Love this Jacket!

I bought this jacket for my 16 yo nephew and not only does he love it, he wears it all the time, even in the house. It is comfortable, versatile and he tells me it is great while snowboarding. He is a very tall kid so the extra large fit him great.

Thanks for helping me make his Christmas perfect for him!

Fits good, rides good.

Looks awesome, pockets are VERY secure. If you like to dig in your pockets don't get this one. Keeps the wind away. Lots of good features, got my bang for my buck.
