Description

Straight to the point.

What's in a name? Well, in the case of the Signal Park snowboard, it's pretty straightforward. This true-twin park destroyer is built tough for burly rail setups, and a season's worth of hard landings on the big jump line. Traditional camber gives you solid edge-hold and precise landings, with plenty of control when you want to hit up the rest of the hill. Triax fiberglass and carbon stringers make it responsive, and the radial sidecut keeps things in check when you're straightlining, juicing every last bit of speed so you don't knuckle that hairy stepdown. Built strong enough for the gnarliest rider you know, in a package that's responsive enough for the rest of us.

The Park snowboard is built on a traditional camber profile. You already know that means stomped landings, locked in lipslides, and the control that a bunch of your favorite riders rely on for getting buck in the park. The twin shape opens up unlimited switch variations. Triaxial fiberglass in the topsheet and the core work in conjunction with carbon stringers, increasing the response for a snappy ride. The freestyle-friendly medium flex blends pressability with enough stiffness for solid landings. The tips are blunted, for reduced swing weight and faster spins. A sintered Durasurf base slides fast and holds a bunch of wax. Plus, like all Signal boards, it's built in the US by people who shred.

Park Murderer

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Signal's factory is based in so-cal around where I grew up, and somehow it took me forever to even learn of them. (check out ETT on their page is pretty sweet). So, this board is freaking awesome. If you love to cruise through park and just have a blast murdering things, bashing things, trying to break everything you can, hitting the biggest jump possible in the park, while stomping everything and not destroying your board in the process, then you wont regret this board. Its traditional camber but still soft enough to press a down flat down, and poppy enough pop huge ollies over fences, and stiff enough to not wash out on back seat landing on bigger jumps. You don't need a board ( like burton ) with all this crazy technology put into it to kill it on the hill. really all that tech to me leaves more room for error. This board is simple but built to last and withstand punishment for hard riders hitting everything in the park. Get this board.
