eh..a little expensive

these are ok. they have very good sound quality. I'm not a dubstep gaywad so i can't comment on how good the bass quality is...but its super clear and the earbuds cancel some outside noise. the wire is wrapped in stiff plastic so it doesn't stay put that easy. plus the wrapping wore out eventually and only one of the buds works now. i don't like the fact that you have to be careful with a pair of earbuds as opposed to a set of headphones. the only reason i gave 3 stars is cause the sound quality. i won't be getting another pair of these

Same skull candy issue

By:
November 20, 2011

These sounded sick, they rocked the bass, and didn't squeal on highs. BUT... same issue with skull candy headphones. after about 2 weeks, one ear goes, and then shortly after so does the other. skullcandy has got to fix their feeble connections, cause these headphones are too pricey for the same old 2 week deal

They Echo

These sound a lot better than the Smokin' Buds, but they do have a weird kind of echo (probably from the metal houseing) so that kind of bugs me. But other than that these are solid earbuds!

Lasted two weeks

By:

These sounded great for about three uses. Then the fourth time I used them, after owning them for a little over a week, the left side dropped out as described in other reviews. Unfortunately these were a gift from my wife, so I didn't get the benefit of these reviews until after the fact. Very disappointing. Dog Funk of course has a great return policy in general, but having to pay for shipping to return these defective buds feels like a bit of a ripoff.

FMJ sound incredible

By:
December 1, 2011

I'm no headphone expert; i've owned a set of Apple in-ear ear buds, the Apple standard ear buds, a pair of WEsC Bongo's and some other pair I forget... These are by far the sickest sounding and looking headphones i've purchased. I have only had them for 3 days though so if they break anytime soon or they dont hold up when i go riding then I will update. I got these specifically for snowboarding but so far so good!!

I Would highly recommend them. The bass is deep and the noise cancellation is outstanding. Overall great quality.

not to rain on anyone's parade here, but these DO NOT sound THAT incredible. yes, they are decent quality. they are sick looking, but for $70 i would expect something much much better. I have a $20 pair of sony ear buds that perform just as well, if not better, and fit more comfortably in my ears. (granted, they don't have a mic, but sony makes the same thing w/ a mic for $40).

not as great as i expected, but i scored them from WM for $2.50, so I can't complain. just not worth $70 byt any means.

OK Earbuds

By: Dogfunk.com Employee

Don't get me wrong on this one. I like these earbuds and I know lots of people who love them but I think they sound kind of hollow. I mainly listen to old school hip hop and they just sound a little echo'y. as for the fit, they fit great if you don't have really small ears like mine.

It is true that they will eventually break/stop working, but when that happens, simply send them to Skullcandy and they will send you the most up to date pair for free with their Lifetime Warranty! You can't go wrong with that! Beware that if you smash them or something where it is your fault they broke you will only get %50 off your replacement pair from Skullcandy, but if they break on their own, Skullcandy will replace them for free!
