Go deaf to a great soundtrack pumpin' through the Skullcandy Hesh Headphones.
Blissfully contribute to the demise of your hearing as you blast your music through the Skullcandy Hesh Headphones. The Hesh Headphone's earcup uses a monstrous 50mm power driver and a sound-boosting dome shape to produce studio quality sound at an affordable price. A soft leather headwrap and earpads make non-stop rocking comfortable, or at least until you need to recharge your iPod. When you're on the subway, adjust your music's volume with the in-line control to hear what stop you're at—whether you understand what the garbled voice says over the intercom is another matter.

Real pic of Black/White
This is what Black/White ACTUALLY looks like. Not grey like shown in pic.
Sounds Great!!!! look ugly....
Sound is great, but I dont like the small hard to feel dial for volume. I prefer slide style controls. Also I got the black and white cause the pic showed it looking grey, but its really black and BRIGHT white. Ill post a pic to show you. I dont really like the color, but now right after I bought it, I see dogfunk got a shipment of actual grey, AND some sweet brown ones. Wish I would have waited a few weeks.... SIGH.... :(
whats the worst part of these headphones...
whats the worst part of these headphones?
So far I really like mine. The only two minor things I dont like are that the volume control is a dial that is kinda hard to control. Imposible with gloves on, and is only about a foot from the headphones, i wish it was further down the line. Also the black/white model is black and really bright white. I was expecting it to be more greyish like in the pics. But other than that they sound great, Seem durrable, fit great!!! I Def rec them!!!
Break way to easly
had them for a month and then they brock in my back becaus i bumpt in a wall.
hey i'm looking for an awesome looking set...
hey i'm looking for an awesome looking set of headphones that are pretty cheap, stay on your head, and are good for listening to music like Metallica and All that Remains. My friend has the Metallica lowriders and i turned my ipod all the way up with them and my ink'd earphones were louder so i dont know if I should get the Hesh ones.
HELLO? CAN YOU HEAR ME?!? IS YOUR MUSIC LOUD ENOUGH??????
So the lowriders weren't loud enough, and now you're not sure if you should get the hesh. So let me get this straight.
Because one type isn't good enough, it must obviously mean all the rest of them are crap too? Hmmmmmmmmmm...Maybe it's just the type of music being played...
hesh is definitly what you are looking for, these are really loud
skullcrushers definitly reign supreme! but they are a bit pricier than these
Hey Timothy ... you can also check out the Skullcrushers ....
you'll never complain about "too quiet" again!!
The local Boathouse has had 6 of these returned because they have cracked/broken at the mid point between the speaker and the center of the headwrap.
The cord length is good. I like it's length better than the SK PROs.
My SK PROs are a lot more durable. I've had mine stepped on twice, they've been sat on countless times. They're invincible :P.
Anyways, just thought the durability of these should come into question.
I'm no audio expert but they sound really good to me and are amazing on the train!! :D
Skullcandy Striped Hesh Headphones
These are the ultimate way to block out the sound of my obnoxiously loud roommates. Very good sound and comfortable.
Hello. I like the Skullcandy Hesh Headphones...
Hello. I like the Skullcandy Hesh Headphones in the stripe and black/red. I need some headphones for school. I was wondering if these would go all the way around my ears or just kind of sit on top of them? I need ones that can go all the way around my ears. Thanks.
who would make a headphone like this that didnt?? yea it does cradle your ears like a little baby :)
these definitly cup the ears, they are huge! they are very comfortable too
Thanks. :) This is all new to me- I'm a web design and interactive media major and I just started my first audio class on Monday.
that is sweet megan, sounds like fun ive never even heard of interactive media... hope you do good in the class :)
Thanks Jake. Yeah I have no experience in audio. Those headphones just look kind of small like they wouldn't completely go around my ears. Well hopefully they aren't leaky at all. My teachers are very anti-ear bud because it's annoying as hell to hear 20 people's music blaring all at once. Thanks for your help!
well i have these sick headphones and i usually put my hood up in class and slap them on.. idk how the teacher doesnt notice but i have them on full blast and no one hears a thing, it comes through nice and crisp.. you should have no worries, if u need anymore questions answered just find my profile and talk to me.. peace!
they are amazing!!! awesome bass and they are very compfortable.also very affordable unlike the $150 ones which are the same anyways. in the winter time they make great earmuffs as an added extra.
Save your money
These headphones look good but that is about all that is good. The sound is quality is very poor, bass washes out on most songs. and vocals sound like they are being sung in a can.
Hesh Kicks Ass!!
I bought the striped phones about a year ago and they've been completely worth the money. The sound quality is awesome, and they do a decent job in canceling surrounding noise.
Also, they're fckn durable. I mean, these phones have made it out alive from each and every snowboard sesh i've taken them through, and on occasion have made it off the mountain in better condition than me.
Only complaint was the extension cable. Mine broke about a month ago and skullcandy didn't do much in supporting my quest for a new one...i still haven't replaced it... =/
All in all, awesome set of phones and definitely at a good price.
Yeah i just got the Green Hesh, so nice, could use a little more bass, but still excellent. I highly recommend these.
I have to say that after buying these, I am stoked on Skullcandy. I originally was afraid that I would be sacrificing style for quality, but I am impressed with the sound quality. I compared them to my brother in law's Sennheiser and they held their own and being a music junkie, that impressed me greatly. I bought the green and black ones and the kids that I take riding on a nightly basis all ask if they can borrow em... "nah brah, you gots to get your own."
Love it, but...
Alright, first off, the sound quality is amazing, and the bass gets the job done. They go extremely loud, cancel noise well, and the in line volume is really nice for snowboarding. I have broken one pair so far, but that was from my brother throwing them against a wall. My only complaint is that if you extend the headphones too much and they bend a little too much, the edges of the plastic might crack, and break if you aren't careful. they still work fine, but I have to be careful not to extend them past a certain point.
Amazing headphones for a pretty darn cheap price.
The Hesh Headphones are fantastic. I bought the striped ones and they look kick-ass. I've had these for about two months and they haven't shown any signs of breaking. The quality of the headphones are great. On songs with a lot of bass your cheek will vibrate. So, yeah, they're good. I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone.
A Great Buy
I use these on the bus every morning and even with the engine noises and kids yelling all I can hear is my music. Its like a concert strapped to your head with these on. They get LOUD and have really high quality. Something you might want to look out for is that these things are big, they stick out like three inches from your head. I don't really care about the size though, the amazing bass and sound quality make these 5 stars.
Not having tried a lot of skullcandy Headphones, i can say that the Hesh are pretty decent. Crystal clear sound, noise cancelers , good bass, treble and you can hear all the little background sounds in the music that you can't normally hear with other earphones.
Great Headphones overall. definitely recommend buying.
They sound great, feel great and look great. What more needs to be said.
awesome 'phones, even better for the $
these are the best headphones ive ever bought for less than something crazy like $200. great sound, great fit. not amazingly comforting like some high end 'phones but still feel great and sound awesome. if you have between 40-100 to spend on headphones, you want to spend it on these
