The tiny Skullcandy Ink'd Bud Headphones help you phase out chatter on the bus and psych up for a skate-park sesh. In-line volume control lets you get just the right amount of thump, and the noise-reduction sleeve ensures the passing cars' radios don't interfere with your stoke.

These are sick. got em in purple. they are great for listening but horrible for running. Whenever you bump the cord it makes a loud noise so you can barely hear the music.
especially now that these are down to a reasonable price, i'd say they're the best deal for earbuds i've seen. i'm no audiophile but i've compared their sound and it is SO MUCH better than the stock iPod ones or the cheapies you get at wal-mart, much better bass, richer more defined sound, and a great fit with the silicone cups. no in-line volume or anything, but they look great and are perfect for a casual earbud to rock on the go.
I will say that it is not difficult to lose the silicone cups, although they come with extras in different sizes it doesn't hurt to superglue em in.
the wire is long which helps you move and not have then keep falling out of your ears. they have good sound quality and they fit in your ear perfectly. great headphones!
I can't hear you
I use these for work when driving a tractor in an almond orchard, they block noise as well as my ear plugs! I can easily hear my music over a screaming diesel engine while I dodge branches and sing to the trees. They are comfortable enough for me to wear for a full ten hours, I definitely recommend them!
Fit very well an cause no pain after one hour of continuous use and stay in place.I would buy again.
soooo much better than standard headphones, also impressed with the bass.
Possible: Cheap With Good Quality?
Yeah, I was shocked, but it is in fact possible. The sound quality is above average for buds, clearly moreso than the standard ipod ones. The play loud and do a decent job blocking out outside noise. Best part? Maxing out at 20 bucks, you can afford to rock a number of them if they get lost/destroyed/stolen.
However, they do NOT have in-line volume control, which wouldn't have bothered me so much if they were upfront about it on the site. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the buds do sometimes have a tendency to fall out if your hat isn't pulled down over them, especially trail running or skiing without a helmet.
pretty cool but....
i really like these.
only problem is if your running you can hear your cord bounce
in the headphones....
this is my skullcandy inkd
nice... i like the way it booms...
Good while they lasted
I got my first pair (red) at Fye for 10 dollars after my brother told me how good they were. they were awesome, but i kept losing the rubber cones to the point where i had to use the large ones which were pretty uncomfortable. I bought a pair in blue just for the rubber cones, but just ended up using the blue ones anyway. Again, i lost the rubber pieces and bought some in green, where i noticed they made a few adjustments to it. mainly, it had new cones that would never fall off. These were sick, until one of the buds broke in half, still connected by wires on the inside. Only the casing was damaged. it still works, just in two pieces. i returned to my blue ones to find that one bud will cut in and out of sound, and my one of my red buds stopped working completely. Despite this, i still love skullcandy because they have tight designs and perfect sound. And they did last decently long between each pair, probably over the course of 3 years. Not very durable and no inline volume control like it says on the site, but either way they sound great. i probably won't buy them again now that the price went up and because of my personal history with the Ink'd, but i will probably stick to skullcandy (because i had the lowriders and they were sweet, other than occasionaly getting stuck in my hair when i wore them around my neck.) Good product, good sound, tight aesthetics, but they can get beat pretty easily. ALSO (rambling on) the cord will make a thumping noise if it hits something while listening to music. it does this when i walk home from school and it hits my burly abs.
i cant hear you
sound quality is excelent and very comfortable.
I bought these for running cus all othere i tried fell out but these stay put.
Go for it!
These headphones are good and very expendable. After several months the cord started to sever internally near the input jack but at the low price for the sound quality, I don't mind having to replace them once or twice every year.
Very Very nice and cheap
I love these earphones. Great sound quality and i tried my friends metallica lowriders with the sound all the way up and these were louder (his might have been a bad pair idk). i got mine for 16 bucks at target and they come with three different sizes on the rubber part that goes in your ear. I run with these and the cord is noisy when it bounces around but thats the only bad part
Red Skullcandy's w/ changeable bud size
the first pair sucked, the second pair are amazing
so i bought the blue and yellow headphones from radioshack. i loved them so much, i could hear sounds in my music that i had never heard before. i could feel the bass, they didnt constantly fall out, and they blocked the sound from the outside really well. but a few weeks after buying them, one of the buds started cutting in and out of sound, then eventually they both did, in order to hear from them you had to move the wiring around just right so you could hear. after looking closesly i realized that where the wire connects to the bud it was starting to come out. i ended up taking them back to radioshack and using my one month return policy to get a new pair. i was so upset that they didnt carry the blue and yellow ones any more, i had to get red instead. i have not had any problems with the red ones soo far. im thinking that maybe they stopped making the yellow because there was a defect??
yeah for real these are hella loud. pick your size bud things and they stay in great and block out other sound. the bass is great and sound is overall. i love em except for skullcandy cords break after 9 months or so
Ink'd Up and Ready to Rip It
Best earbud I have found to fit under a ski helmet. I like not having a built in sound system, mostly because they cost way more than they are worth, and this filled the hole in my riding for me. They are great, compact buds, with the awesome sound quality I expect from Skullcandy. Cool, muted colours round out a decent, low priced package with only one thing missing, the in-line volume control like the Smokin' Buds and other Skullcandy products. Maybe in the future this will change.
yeah not so much......other than that they rule
Great quality for a great price
These buds are very loud and the cord tends to not get tangled like other earbuds I have used. The sound is great and the price is perfect. Not to mention great customer service from Dogfunk. As others claim that the cord produces a lot of noise, this is common to any earbud that cancels out a lot of outside noise and is no more prominent with these buds than any other.
Perfect for price
holy crap these are loud, stay in ears just fine, bass mid and trebble all sound good, and are priced right. 5 outta 5
