Experience the precision sound of Skullcandy Lowrider Headphones and ride to the beat of your own drum. These full-range headphones give your music a much-needed boost so you can kill it in the terrain park with crisp highs, full mids, and thundering bass.
Bottom Line: Killin’ it in the park and in your ear-hole.
Just use your goggle strap to hold them in place. They don't move then. I can slide a bud off my ear to hear by buddies on the lift then slide it back on before the ride. Never had an issue of them falling off while I ride in the park.
There can be pretty uncomfortable, i usually wear them with a beanie, and as for snowboarding of skating with them, just be careful, and dont wreck, they will far off easily, but they do look sick, and sound quality is niceee!
I just want colorful whack headphones for the gym. there's so much white noise with all the cardio machines grinding that i can't use ear buds. i never wear any head gear. I'm a chick. anyone have any feedback? i want the skullcandy icons but they seem to be for y'all outdoorsy boyz
go with the icons theyre baller in every way in my opinion theyre the perfect size and the icon soft's in the electric animal style are quite colorful.

good headphones, but u can just get the icons if u wanna take em into the park.. these r too heavy and have more moving peices so theyll fall off and break easier.
Will you guys ever carry the new black&gold MFM's or the white print lowriders? Sorry, i know skull candy makes 9000 color variations on every headphone, and its hard to carry all of em....
They most likely will, especially since it is a pro model headphone. Your best bet is to just check back daily to to see if they have stocked that colorway.
these are not made for boarding without a hat over them. under them, they just slip right off time and time again. i dont think you wanna be worrying about your headphones when ur hucking a 900 off a 50ft booter
These are great for cruising the mountain. They do slide off easily so they aren't the greatest for park. The colors are wild (I have the yellow ones) and the sounds good. I love them when I'm just rippin' around.
these are not worth $34. they look cool, never broke on me, but the ear muffs are as hard as a rock and they sound quality is just ehh. i wear these camping and stuff. they are they headfones you throw in a backpack for some tunes later when your boarding or skiing
ok, so, there definitely better than the stock ipod headpphones, but i wouldnt say there great. i mean, like, if you just want some pimpin looking lowriders, they do the job, but if you want great sound i would go with something else. i have some skull candy earbuds that i got for 20$, there much beter, there actually better than some 50$ over hear head phones i bought.
plus, they look kinda goofy if you have short hair, so eather wear a beanie of have long hair :)
all in all, there worth the $ if you want something that looks good around your neck.

also, they have soo many moving parts, it gets pretty frustrating.
Went through two pairs of these last season. Both broke within two weeks and not because of spills. These aren't about quality or durability. Hell my ears even hurt at the end of the day from lack of comfort. If you buy these, get some duct tape. I ride 100 days every year and these simply dont cut it. For shame cause they do have some steez but thats it.
"buy em and dont fall." Honestly... Who is snowboarding and trying new tricks and not falling? Falling is part of snowboarding and so are headphones. If the headphones aren't up for it then you shouldn't be riding park with them in the first place. Skullcandy has a rap for crappy headphones. The only reason people buy skullcandy is cause (like me) the awesome warrenty for a life time of free headphones. B. Because they look cool and don't care that they sound like crap (most people cant tell anyways so who cares). Or C. they are like who and are total posers who think they are the shit by wearing them when really ur the dude sitting at the top of the park watchin everyone else go and only judging instead of joinin.
I like them a lot, they have great sound quality. you can turn the speakers out and share with all of your friends on the lift (or be part of the conversations on the way up) and when you want to they do a great job of drowning out all of the noise of the outside world. It is a bit tricky figuring out how to keep them in place if youre wearing a helmet, def wont fit under, and can fly off your neck if youre in the park or moving quickly. not bad for walking around but not tight enough to go running with them on your head.
I've gone through 3 pairs of these in 2 seasons. They break on even the tiniest spills. I reccomend buying ALOT of duct tape if u buy these. sound quality is ok.
Okay so they do wear over time. I'm on my third pair.(For The price of one) You guys need to call Skullcandy (1.888.697.5855) when yours break they send you a new pair for free!!! And For Snowboarding Cruising there awesome in the park if you plan on going big and falling dont wear them! find some cheap earbuds! (I have The Purple Whites There are sick!)
I wouldn't wear these while riding, I could easily see them falling off if you bail. Also there's no volume control so you'll have to park them around your neck or dig out your ipod if you need to hear something other than your tunes.
Other than that though I've been pretty impressed with the lowriders - decent sound quality for the price, and I love that they collapse and fold up for storage in a backpack or pocket. They're pretty comfy to wear but after a couple of hours straight they start to hurt my ears a little because they sit right on the ear, but that's to be expected of any headphone that's not "over the ear" style.
These headphones are sick for just hanging or walking around town. Take them to the Mt. and there toast. Plain and simple Icons for the mt. low riders for doing just that. riding low.
Nice sound, no doubt. Having them around your neck so your homies can hear across a quiet room is pretty cool coming from a foldable, non-durable mostly janky pair of headies. If they didnt fold, and had the iCon's double band they'd be like the iCon's older, doper, more comfy brother. But they don't fit well enough to stay on yur head, so why bother doing anything withem. Only good for groms and wannas. Laptops and soccer mommies listening to their son's favorite rap track.
Maybe I'll sport em on the Mt. just to see if they last.
The sound was pretty good and they got the job done, fit pretty well for me. They snapped a little after I got them though. But thankfully Skullcandy has a lifetime warranty and I replaced them. Sturdiness was a 1 but service was a 4, so averaged to about 3.
I have no idea what other people are talking about so I decided to do a review. I've had my lowriders for about three years now and they're still kickin'. When I first got them I was impressed with the bass response and general sound to my music. It honestly brought out sounds that I didn't even know where there. Bottom line: if you want an excellent pair of phones for a decent price, buy these (don't listen to what these other nitwit's are saying).
Zero bass...if you want to thump tunes with a lot of the low end you'll be dissapointed. They have great mid and high sound though! I wear them mowing and can barely hear the mower.
The material seems pretty flimsy. It's cool that they fold up for travel, but I wouldn't use them snowboarding. In fact, I wouldn't use them for anything active. They work best if you're just sitting and listening.
Cool color combos. Sounds pretty good. And does a pretty good job of keeping the music in your ears. I used them at work (desk job) and a few times I thought my coworkers could hear the music, but they didn't.
They're really not that great. I mean, the bass is okay, and you can crank them up pretty loud. The one thing I don't like about them though, is they break way too easily. I was snowboarding with them on and i took a spill and the speakers themselves broke off and I had to tape them back together. I've been rocking taped up, ghetto-ass headphones for almost two years. Overall, sound quality isn't too bad, but durability sucks. Do not wear these while snowboarding.
These are Ok in my opinion but I use them at home on my computer when I need the sound all to myself and there are no other headphones around. They are kind of heavy so these are not good for snowboading because they fall off easily and they make my ears sore after an hour or so of wearing them. They fold down nice and small which is a nice. My favorite headphones are the Hesh headphones.
i got these free witha purchase of a snowboard back in the summer. i use 'em when i exercise at the gym and so far they keep up real well. no probs with bass, they stay snug on my head, recommend to anyone chilln, making beats etc.
These things look good, I had bought a pair from my school's book shop and I dont even know what color scheme you call them cause they were white with chrome designs but they lasted for awhile, even while snowboarding they didnt break. Just finished a chem lab and was on my way to my bag when I was taking them off and they just simply broke at the adjuster with almost zero force at all. The only issue I have with these headphones is the poor design and structural integrity of the Head band adjuster.
