Description

These cans may also stimulate the part of your brain that makes you dance uncontrollably.

The Skullcandy Lowrider Headphones w/Mic will send sound directly into the part of your brain that is responsible for what scientists call the 'holy shit' reflex. The triggering of this reflex often leads to toothy grins and nodding your head to the beat.
  • The 40mm drives slam sound into your ears
  • DJ-esque swiveling cans let you pull out and hear the real world when you need to
  • Inline mic lets you switch to phone mode so you can enjoy music and scintillating conversation
  • Folding design makes them easy to stash in your bag
  • Silky-soft, leather ear pillows seal out ambient noise and keep your ears feeling good
  • Compatible with iPhone, other 'iThings' as well as most smartphones

Great Sound, Bad Mic.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this headset for gaming and recording youtube videos. The sound on the headset is pretty decent. The microphone on the other hand would blare the sound if you got louder when recording so it became harder to understand what I was saying. Do not buy this if you need a cheap headset with a microphone. I would only use this for music.

They are ok, and serve the purpose

I needed a headset with a microphone, so I picked up these for work. For me, I find they do not fit over the ears very well and are somewhat uncomfortable to wear for an extended period of time. That being said, the sound quality and microphone work great for the price point.

okay, however,...

Solid sound, sweet that they fold up, but the stress on the plastic over time leads them to snap. Get the Icon instead or whatever is replacing the Icon. My only product from Skullycandy that I was really disappointed with. If they do break, they'll replace them.

Not very good in my opinion

I've used many other Skullcandy headphones and while these sound ok I can't wear them for long as they are uncomfortable on the ears. I originally bought them for traveling but I prefer earbuds since they are smaller. These now sit in my room and only occasionally use them on those rare occasions when I need to use headphones. I prefer the Hesh.

Do they have bass and vibrate

Responded on

Hey,

The bass is pretty good on these, not going to vibrate off you're head if that's what you're looking for. Sounds like the Skull Crushers are a better bet for you.

Responded on

no , its the skullcrushers you want

I'm not a fan

These are Ok in my opinion but I use them at home on my computer when I need the sound all to myself and there are no other headphones around. They are kind of heavy so these are not good for snowboarding because they fall off easily and they make my ears sore after an hour or so of wearing them. They fold down nice and small which is a nice. My favorite headphones are the Hesh headphones.

Responded on

agree with the bad snowboarding headphones. they fall off per kicker

I use this pipe a lot and the sound is great! I just wish it had a little more bass and didn't have a very slight buzz when left on but not in use. I like the pipe though and will continue to use it.
