Best Money ever Spent on Headphones
These Skullcrushers are cheap, and can blow your mind! I highly recommend these to anyone that loves listening to music through their headphones.
I bought these last year off of Whiskey Militia, same headphones and they suck. The bass is not strong and when you turn it all the way up it gets distorted....Needs batteries and the foldable(ness) is a pain
I bought mine at skullcandy.com for 80$ these are 35$ mofos that is a big ass sale.
Definitely Not Great
Anyone claiming these to be great headphones has no idea what even good headphones sound like. The volume is subpar.
The acoustics are decent at best.
The bass straight up sucks. It just rumbles it has no good sound to it.
The remote didn't work on my pair and I don't even care to get it fixed (because they suck anyways).
The product doesn't have a sturdy feel to them and although they havn't broke on me yet, I won't be suprised when they do.
In the end they work like any other cheap headphones... I wouldn't suggest paying more then 30 doll hairs for this product. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because it actually does produce audible sound.
Really really good
These headphones are awesome! Every other pair of headphones ive tried sucks. The bass is awesome. They take a little bit to get used to the sound and really like them and have them sound awesome but they are amazing out of the box. After a few minutes you don't even notice them. I do rec omens getting them from Bestbuy and getting the black tie warranty because I've gotten a short in the connector twice and had to have them replaced bt I had the warranty so everything was cool.
I cant believe the bass these have! better then my bfs car! Good quality, stylish, exquisite sound like you are in the recording studio as they mix the song, how have i gone my whole life without these? the amount of bass can be adjusted, so its good for people like me with lots of different genres of music. I'm hooked for life, I'll never use anything less. sooo worth the extra shipping fee! A must have for anyone that truly loves music.
these things are the bees knees, you can feel the music in your face, i totaly love em and recomend them to anyone thats thinkin about buyin them.
Not bad, but not as great as others say..
After reading the reviews for these I expected something more.... Here's a more accurate depiction..
Overall for the cash$; I'd they are worth it if you're just looking for a cheap but decent pair of headphones. They are relatively comfortable - snug around ears and aren't too heavy. The acoustics are fairly nice but not very loud - which is dissapointing. The bass isn't great... It's more like the just stuck a N64rumble pack in the head set then actually quality sounding bass. It just vibrates your ears with the beat... THIS IS NOT THE SAME as quality sounding bass - check Dre's new headphones for the real deal... Also, you need a AA battery to kick the bass (rumble pack) in. There is a mute switch thats nice, and a volume control but I don't think it functions right... it barely changes the volume.
I myself was hoping to get some real quality headphones for a cheaper price but instead I got a par set.. which again...ain't bad,...just ain't great.
~Hope this helps
Dig these headphones. Comfortable, insane audio, the acoustics in your noggin are transformed, better than being at a concert.
Are these better then hesh?
Are these better then hesh?
Yes, sound is louder and clearer. Not too mention these can swivel. The earpads on the Hesh can only tilt and the band can only slide 2", this band can compact and the whole unit folds up small for how big they are when worn. Go big!
I think the design is much better on these, they have solid joints that feel like they could withstand some abuse, but I really feel like the sounds quality is lacking, I love my Hesh's, they provide great comfort and quality tunes, whereas these lack in range, highs feel muted, and the "bass" is more of a gimmick, its all vibration and rattle, like when the components in your car chatter after you install a sub and don't seal anything. I reccomend Hesh over these, they are legit.
I got these off whiskey after reading reviews here and thinking about paying full price for these babies, and I am glad I waited, because these guys aren't as great as I'd hoped. The sounds quality is pretty lacking, the highs don't stand out really, and the subwoofer isn't even legit. I LOVE bass, i rock a sub in my car, and these headphones do NOT duplicate the kind of music quality I enjoy. They just vibrate a lot, and don't get nearly as loud as I'd expected. I'm gonna keep them, just because i paid so little for them, but had a paid more than 30 bucks, I would be returning these.
I will say, these headphone collapse better than any other headphones I've owned, the head band locks in place so you don't have any problems with them being flimsy on your head. Also, the ear pads are super cush, i love how comfortable they are.

how do they stay on your head while on the slopes? i usually wear a beanie underneath and my ride is usually a bit bouncy... i heard that lowriders can usually snap
Most of my homies rock 'em with the gogg straps over the headphones. Keeps the style rockin' and your tunes in place.
got these on whiskey militia for heaps cheap in the blue colour. they look so sexy, and the bass is crip! they fit sick and the looks rage. great value for the price

do these sound good with ska music like sublime and reggae music?
haha it totally depends on how much bass you want - obviously pump the bass like crazy..but in general i think these are actually some of the best sounding headphones skullcandy makes..they work super well for me and I listen to everything from acoustic and piano to heavy rap and everything in between so i'm guessing they would work well for reggae
They were good untill they just up and quit
Wtf fuck I bought a pair of the and they just stopped working 3 weeks after i got them.

audio pros say no, but thats mostly what i use em for (Bullet, ATR, heavy bass pedals and guitar)...and i love em
ok i like these because they fold up...
ok i like these because they fold up somewhat i think but if these suck i'm wondering if i should get the G.Is or the Hesh headphones. Which one is better.
NO! haha, these dont suck at all, the Hesh's and GI's bass connot even compare to these headphones. If i had to choose between the other two id say hesh all the way, but you will not be dissapointed with these
