The Skullcandy Smokin' Buds give you dope sound in a small package.
Don't try to smoke these buds. The Skullcandy Smokin' Bud Headphones are strictly for your listening pleasure. Whip up a playlist of Cypress Hill, Marley, and Dre's Chronic and enjoy your tunes through these noise-reducing earphones. The Smokin' Buds make your music sound like that premium shiznit. These ear buds deliver a full, crisp frequency range and the fast response of full-size headphones in a tiny direct-to-ear package—better than the sticks and stems sound of most other earbuds. When the paranoia kicks in and you think you're listening to Bob a little too loud, adjust the Smokin' Bud's volume with the in-line control and relax. It's just Natural Mystic floating through the air.

Pros: great sound quality compared to my ipod buds. Volume control is nice. Comfortable even on long runs. (10 mile +).
Cons: Ear buds do fall out when I am running hard but are easy to put back in. Cord length is a little long although it doesn't bug me too bad.
All and all, good ear buds for the money and a defnite improvement over the ipod ear buds.
Block out sounds like a champ!
Love these head phones!! I got them for wearing while at work in order to listen to my tunes and block out some of the chatter from my co-workers. These work far better than my $30 headphones that I previously had. I don't have to crank up the volume in order to block out conversation so I am no longer going deaf in order to concentrate.
The sound quality is pretty descent, I can't ever bring myself to drop a lot of money on headphones since I tend to be a bit on the destructive side.
get the job done
these are alright hurt my ears after a while, sound is fantastic though.

what are some of the best brands of headphones(over ear like skullcandy hesh)
the AERIAL7 tanks are awesome over-ears, but they're bulky. still the sound quality is better than skullcandy and they don't wear out nearly as quickly.
easily the worst headphones ive ever bought. sound quality is good, but they completely crapped out in 2-3 weeks. will never buy from skullcandy again. weak sauce,
Skullcandy Smokin' Bug Headphones
I know Skullcandy is all the rage, but I'm not all that impressed by the Smokin' Bud Headphones. The sound quality seems good enough, and it's sometimes nice to have in-line volume control, but these really just don't seem to fit my ears. Even the smallest ear pieces were too big, and these didn't want to stay in. (They were too big to be inserted correctly.) Also, they seem to cut out too much other sound. Perhaps that's nice if you're commuting on a crowded subway train or something, but I know I wouldn't feel safe skiing or riding with these even at very low volume.
i love these earbuds. they are so much better than the included ipod phones that i couldnt believe it. they dont fall out when i run and i cant hear crap else when i have them on
i had the rasta and they were dope. amazing sound and style. except they put em in zumiez so every1 got em cause every1 thinks they skate in mythical lands and i got sick of every1 showing me there gangster headphones i already have. get em thou there amazing
decent quality, lifetime warrenty, perfect
broke after a month or so, however, the replacement process was as smooth as could be. Very pleased
Decent headphone from a great brand. The Smokin' Buds have awesome sound quality, and a fairly low profile package, which make them great for pretty much anything. They fit under a ski helmet, although not the best fit, with a bike helmet, or just kickin' around an airport. The in-line volume adjustment makes this an almost perfect package, making sure you can have the background noise while still socializing on the chairlift. Only problems I have had with mine have been the left ear cutting out... completely. The last time this happened (second pair), I fell asleep with them on, and slept the whole night on the left side, when I woke up I had killed it, my bad.
For the price these little guys are awesome. They are small enough to wear comfortably under a hat in the winter or even under a helmet while skiing. They have pretty good sound quality and they come with three different size tips for any ear size. Super stoked on these, love skullcandy!
should u? u should
I got a pair of these awhile ago, and loved them! they worker reallly well after i put in my washer once. haha. they fit great, look awesome, and sound sickkkk! totally worth the $$
it was johnny hopkins and sloan kettering and they were blazin that sh** up
I washed these and dried them in my pants pocket and they still work awesome... nuff said
Pulled these off Whiskey the other day because I'd heard Skull Candy stuff was so good and they were like $12 or something. They look awesome and they fit really well but comparing with the standard iPod ones I was looking to upgrade, they don't sound better. In fact, low tones and high tones both sound better with the standard Apple ones. These aren't terrible, if you're looking for a good pair of headphones. These look good and sound good, but don't expect anything special.
Have you ever seen ear buds that look so cool!?! I think...wait...i know not. They sound awesome too, highs are crisp and clear, and then the bass is monster, feels like they almost have subwoofers. noise isolation is great, put you in own little world withought the redic. price of noise-cancelling heaphones. only two gripes are the volume control is nearly usless, only goes from %100 volume to about %50 volume, instead of going to zero like it should. and then like lots of earbuds, they fall out easy. SOOOOO for the price of a boring pair of buds, you get the skullcandy name, skullcandy style, the skullcandy warranty, the skullcandy sticker :-), and a nearly functioning volume control. Great stuff
Smokin Buds Stay
I got these buds for the fit. My Apple buds always
fell out when working out, sometimes even when walking, or sudden movements. So I had my doubts before ordering these. They come in three adaptive sizes for fitting to one's ear, and they no longer fall out. The sound is fine, but I'm not a sound connoisseur. Like the volume control on the cord; very functional. Luv these buds!
ps. The color goes well with my ipod.
Dude did u see that?..........WHAT!?
First off, they very culurful, and i dont what people are saying with the whole they fall out thing, they fit great, and block out noise really well for in ear headphones, they have good sound quality, almost as good as the hesh.
Pretty good for the price.
They are pretty much your middle of the road ear buds. The sound is ok, I can't turn anything up all the way or they fuzz out. The ear pieces are pretty comfortable and they stay in ok. My only complaint is the in-line volume control has to soft of an adjustment. I turn my music off on myself all the time.
The rasta ones look pretty sick. They are perfect for my ears because they are really small. Typically earbuds fall out for me. The product itself feels cheap but they hold up pretty well and sound amazing. The only thing that I do not like is the cord is really long and gets tangled a lot - and stays tangled.
I like these earbuds, but they aren't much better than Ink'd. Bit more style to them, and the volume control...but sound quality is the same as the Ink'd.
